Nolan considered Wu's proposition for a minute before he remembered the settlement that was sitting in his bank account. In truth, he didn't need a job at all, he could just sit at home and do nothing if he wanted to. Since it was his choice, he felt more at leisure to say, "I don't mind dropping by now and then to make sure everything is running smoothly until you find new staff. I'm sure if Henry knew about this, he could help recommend good people to help you out."
"That would be nice." Wu had a dreamy look in her eyes. "I wish you could be here every day, but what truly made you come down here today? Is there something wrong? Do you have a medical problem you wanted to see someone for?"
Nolan took his lunch bag out from under the desk. "I was hoping to surprise you with lunch, but you know there are so many low income people here that I just let the fight club have it?"
"The fight club?"
