28 Uniqueness or Template - which is better?

Yes, of course, they strain the same type, stamped stories, they are dull. The revival with the presence of insider information, plugin ideas, but how to make money out of nothing? Some commonplace questions are simply not mentioned in the short stories. Suddenly no one, and calling him nothing, becomes rich. It does not attract attention, the shadow world or the guys with a cloak and a dagger? Does the system allow all of them to be sent to the forest?

Many wonderful translated short stories, unavailable, because - closed. And to open all of them is not enough stones.

Original novels? Yes, among them there are masterpieces, some of which have already scored a couple of hundred thousand views and some and a couple of million. But they may soon become closed.

It's boring to read the same stories but with different variations ... many authors prefer to follow the beaten path, follow the track and not through thorns to the stars! Therefore, it is very difficult to meet the novel, which is not typical, not stamped by history, but it is possible.

At the same time, the unique story is not the fact that it will become popular, since it is not typical, the reader did not get used to it.

If you go along the path that eminent and not very authors trampled on, the reader already knows what to expect from history. It can only have various plot variations, changing the names of the characters ... This is a copy, copies, copies ... maybe 10 copies already, and not quite fresh, but time-tested!

And suddenly, to take a new story, it is unique, original, unknown ... therefore, the reader on the one hand may be intrigued ... but on the other, if his expectations are not fulfilled ... then the reader will simply leave ... The unknown is always scary. Therefore, the choice is always the reader ... the author can try and take a chance ... he will have his own reader, but there will be dozens of them, against a template story, where there will be hundreds if not thousands of readers.

Of course, much more, as I see it, depends on the quality of English writing, its beautiful and clear form of presentation of the text. If it is interesting, if the story is fascinating ... then if you have 70 chapters, you as authors will have an audience that reads your novels of hundreds of thousands if not millions ...

In general, if you are confident in your grammar, have the gift of writing simple, clear and interesting stories, then you should try to go your own new way and write in your own unique genre.

If you are not ready for this, then it is easier to choose an already beaten path. It will not be so interesting for you as a writer, but then you will take the necessary number of readings.

Well, I have a completely different case ... I am a food in the genre of historical fictitious documentary. As an author, I am not a writer, I am a techie, which affects the style of short stories. My grammar is lame, my knowledge of English does not allow me to present in all its glory what I want to tell. However, I have a reader. Why?

IMHO this is related to the content of short stories, they are interesting, new, unique, useful, informative. If I could write well, then there would be more readers. But, there is, that is!

Therefore, there is a choice for the author, to go his own way or go on a stamped path. This is your choice!
