The History Only a Few Knows

"So what do you know? who did this?"

Soon as the vehicle started moving in a moderate speed, Max questioned the woman beside him. illuminated with the light inside, Max clearly saw her beautiful facial aspects. While she was without a doubt top notch, her mature body made any man drool. Max wasn't an exception.

Maybe Corinne's worries weren't baseless after all, surely, wolves are without a doubt, lustful creatures.

'After I go back I need to ravage Lydia thoroughly' Max mutter in his heart tearing his eyes away from the mature body. Not even day passed his last coitus session with Lydia but now he requires it again.

"Since you already related supernatural, this will be easy for you to understand" Desert Wolf finally decide to stimulate her voice "before that let me ask you what kinda Alpha are you? I know you are not a killer."

Max was confused, "What do you mean?"

"I mean since you didn't steal power from another Alpha how did you get it? True Alpha or Born Alpha?" Surprisingly for once, Corinne spoke patiently. she always showed acted somewhat impatient, but not this time.

"Oh! You could say I'm a Born Alpha" Max smiled slightly answering. He knew he wasn't True Alpha, needless to say, he didn't steal it too. So the natural answer is he Born with this power. It fit the ammo perfectly.

"Well…your family supposed to lecture you about history. But who knows what they think, I will educate you, so listen carefully"

A thousand years ago, the supernatural world is completely different than how it is now. There were many types of Were-Humans. They had their own society, separate from normal humans, or they called, mortals.

WereWolves, WereJaguars, Druids, Were-Snakes, every shapeshifter had their own social status. While all the Lycanthropes lived in harmony, there was one particularly powerful group stood pinnacle of the supernatural world.

[Here Corinne stops talking and looks toward Max, hoping to see his surprised face. Not wanting to disappoint her Max does show surprise on his handsome face. However, he didn't need to fake it, he was genuinely surprised.]

They were the Overlords of the supernatural world, Strong and fast. They drank blood from humans, they treated humans as their slaves. They were the ones who introduced slavery to humankind.

Although many tried to oppose the way of Vampires, they couldn't do much about it.

Suddenly Eight hundred years ago, the supernatural world experienced a war.

Hunters, Werejaguar, Foxes, Were-snakes formed an alliance against Vampires. Reason for this still unknown, but the war spread throughout the whole world. Order of Brotherhood, they call themselves, relentlessly hunted Vampires. Sometimes they even wipe out entire cities, Vampires, Humans, they didn't care. every single one, who related to Vampires died a tragic death.

Naturally, Otherside didn't stay silent either, they too started to show their prowess.

War lasted 300 years. Finally, Alliance emerged as the victor of the war. They didn't even spare child related to Vampires.

Finally, the world was devoided from blood kind.

"But it looks like 'Order' didn't do a good job. Some must have survived and stayed hidden until now"

Corinne finished her story with somewhat distress. She couldn't help but think coming of another war. Now that her client is here that means Hunters are already on the work. While Vampires are starting to kill randomly.

"I have a question. Why didn't Wolves join the war?" After a long time of silence, Max asked confused. Why not wolves join? Normally they ought to be mortal enemies with Vampires. Things seemed strange.

"This I don't know too, you should ask your family. This all I heard from my old friend" Corinne slowly shook her head hinting he lack of knowledge.

"I can meet him or her?" Max had a pretty good idea who is her friend might be. but he decided to stay as the stranger he was. no need to alarm Corinne.

Maybe Talia never died, maybe she is at the state of sleep because of fire. TV series never said it but Max believed she was in fact still alive.

For god sake, she was one of the most powerful Alphas ever. how could she just die from a simple house fire?

"No, you can't meet her. If this really is Vampires maybe in the future you might have a chance meeting her"

Max's whole body turned cold when he heard Corinne's words. Look like He was right to suspect Talia's status and Corinne's involvement. However, she showed clear signs of refusing to talk about this any further. Max wish to know more, but he had let time take the course.

"Alright, so what are we going to do? Also, who is your client, why he is interested in this?" Max relucted to leave the previous topic. However, he didn't have any choice.

"I'm not supposed to say this but since you from a noble family, I will tell you" Corinne looked seriously at Max "He is from Romanian Noble Family called Van Helsing, a Vampire Hunter"

It's not that Corinne trusts Max. Actually, there was no harm in telling who is her client. Max never going to meet him. If they going to work together Max needs to know that there is a Hunter in town.

Besides according to her knowledge, Vampire Hunters and Werewolf Hunters are different. A Vampire Hunter would never Hunt wolves. It was the La Bete's incident gave birth to Werewolf hunters. So they carrying two different perspectives.

'Fucking hell, this time I screw up big time. So much for making the first Vampire Nest. Now there is Hunters not just any hunter freaking Van Helsing, and then there is an Alliance. It will be good if Ron made a few more Vampires. While Hunters chasing after Ron I could relax for a few years'

For a moment Max regretted making Vampires. But the ship has already sailed. He only hoped Vampire Hunters never find him and they just occupied their time with Ron. Maybe Ron being alive isn't that bad after all. who knows, maybe, he might play an important role in future, when the time arrives War against the Hunters.
