It was Thursday, 4 days before FeFam fashion released their second collection. That night, Alice was in great mood

"what happen ? why are you so happy" Nick cuddled her on the bed.

"Darling, We nearly complete our collection, I am going to release mine earlier, it will be end of march. after that, I am going to get ready for our baby. Also, Tara called me this morning, we are going to have lunch with her tomorrow. Do you want to join us ?"

"Tomorrow, I'll have meeting with Nathan to discuss project in N city. If we are finish on time, I'll come. Lets sleep, it's already late"

The next day, just before they went to work Alice told her mother in law about her lunch "Mum, do you remember Tara my friend from N city ?.

"Oh, your bridesmaid"

"Yes. She is here now. She and Nathan is in relationship. He takes her to meet his parents. I am going to have lunch with her"

"Good, have a great time. But remener to gave your lunch not too late. Also ask Ther to come here when she has time. I didn't have time to have chat with her last time"

"don't worry, Mum. Our lunch is 12.30. I'll ask her to come here. See you this afternoon"

Alice did her work and left her shop at 12. She arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes earlier, howeverTara was already there.

"Alice" Tara waived her hands.

Alice smiled while walking to Tara table then sat there. She didn't realise that a pair of eyes were watching her as soon as Tara mention her name.

Chairman NG had been in S city for two weeks. Since his arrival he did all he could to find information about his daughter with out any result. He just had a meeting with private investigators, they told him it was very slim chance to find Xinxin based on the information that he given to him, then they rejected the job Once they left, He was dispirited and in adze for sometime.

"Sir, don't lose hope. I am sure we can find Miss" secretary Chin tried to encourage him.

"I know. I can and I should find her. She is my daughter" He smiled and stood up.

He turned his body and froze to see a lady who reassambled his Xixi entered the restaurant.

He trembled with excitement when he heard a lady called her name.

"Sir, young mistress name is also Alice" one of the men who was arranged by Ming was very sharp.

" she looks like Xixi" He could not help but keep staring at Alice.

Alice and Tara read the menu and put their order soon after.

"I need to go to the ladies. I go to toilet often now" Alice excused her self.

"be careful, your husband will kill my boyfriend if something happen to you" Tara was joking, while Alice giggled then went away.

As soon as Alice left, Chairman NG went to approach Tara "Miss, that Lady, is she your friend ?"

Tara smiled "She is".

"how do ypu know her ?

"Oh, we are study in same uni when we were in country U"

" are you from Country U ?"

"No I'm from China but I went to country U to study"

Chairman NG was getting excited "are you study in N city ?"

Tara nodded

"is your friend sure name is NG ?"

"Nope. Hers is Feng. but her maiden is Lin"

Chairman NG saw Alice came out, so he went back to his seat cheerfully, he felt like he won a multibillions project deal "it is her".

When Alice was back, their order had been there. So the ladies started their lunch

"Hey girl. How was your first time meeting your in law ?" Tara asked when They nearly finished their lunch

"Oh.. do you worry they won't fond of you ?" Tara didn't answer her but Alice knew the answer as she was blushing.

"Mum and Dad were cold to me. Well, they didn't approve us at the beginning. It took us more than 3 months to get their nod. But, They did not do anything bad to me. Mum is the best " her eyes were twinkling when she talked about her parents in law.

"Stop showing off your happy life to me !" Tara sneered. while Alice laughed

"Why can't I. Don't be scare, as long as your are sincerely, they will accept you. By the way, mum asked you to come over. How about weekend on weekend"

"I can't. Nathan will bring me to his parents on weeked. how about now ?"

"Sure"

After they paid the bill, they left the hotel and walked to the hotel lobby.

"Wait for me here. I am going upstair to get my bag" Tara left Alice on the lobby hotel.

Chairman NG eyes glued on Alice all the time. He noticed she was different from a year ago. she was more charming, her smile were dazing and her eyes were twinkling. her laughter was bery please in his ears.

Not long after Tara went away, Chairman NG who had been followed the ladies from the restaurand called her "Xinxin".

Alice froze when she heard familiar voice. She turned her body and stared blankly to the middle age man in front of her. Her smile was faded, ber twinkled eyes turned gloomy.

Chairman NG really wanted to hug his daughter but her coldness provoked his anger. He could not accept the fact that she was very warm and charm with pitsider but turned to be indifferent toward him, he was a proud man after all.

"What kind of attitude is that ? I am your father. I have forgiven you but you are ungrateful" He sneered.

"Forgive me ? for what ? I never do anything wrong" Alice clenched her hand and smiled bitterly.

"you brought a shame to our family with your behavior. your moral is very low" He threw a dirty look at her.
