Neglected

Weeked was just a blink of eye.

On friday Night, Nick arrived home at 6.30. After changed his cloths, he sat on dinning table waiting for his Dinner. He was exciting to find out tonight dinner. Since Alice started cooking, she incharged of their food. She cooked for dinner and kept some for their lunch. He still cooked occasionally.

Alice came with their dinner, she had two on the bowl on her hands. she placed one infornt of and the other one was for hee one. Nick frown and disbelieve "instant spicy ramen ?".

" what's wrong ? You love it and we haven't had this for longtime. Any way, I am so bussy"

"Bussy ? what did you do ?" Nick wondered.

"In the morning, I did some shopping for tomorrow dinner. Then I cooked the chicken, tomorrow I just need to deepfried them. Then I made waffle and cupcake"

"what is tomorrow dinner menu ?"

"chicken rice, crispy chicken, stir fry veggie with seafood, bbq pork and beef meat ball soup"

" Honey, we just have a family dinner not a lunar new year eve banquet " he was amezed with her enthusiasm.

" we have Christmas in june here, why we can't have lunar new year eve in july.

you know clealy that it's my first time cooking for my beloved one. I want the best. " she pouted.

Country A was on the south part of the globe so winter was on june till august.

" Finish it soon. I still need to put icing on my cupcake after this".

Saturday morning, Nick woke up. with close eyes,His hand was searching for person he shared bed with. But, he could not find her, the space where she slept was cold.

He opened his eyes and checked his bedside clock, it was only 7. They normally woke up late on weekend.

He got up and walked to the kitchen. When he opened their bedroom door, he could smell beef soup aroma from the kitchen

"It's still early" he amazed, she already started cook again.

"morning Darling, breakfast ready" .

Nick frowned, he was disapponted again when he saw what on the table was.

Alice twitched "why ? what's wrong with cereal ? I remember that certaint people told me cereal has alot of fiber, it's good for digestion. I also find out it's good for constipation."

Nick speechless, she was getting smarter and could talked back to him now.

"after breakfast, Can you help tidy up living room and clean all the bathrooms, Please."she commanded Nick. They had two bathrooms, one in side their room and another one near the kitchen.

" ah.. don't forget .. please make sure, you vacuum the carpet, mop and clean the toilet bowl" She remind him.

" you dare to teach me !? your teacher"he amused.

Actually, He had planned to clean their place with out she asked. He wanted to impressed his parent and gave his fiancee the credit.

Nick did the cleaning the whole morning , he also moved and rearranged all Alice good stock of her online shop.

"Darling, Can you please pick up my BBQ pork from WW bbq restaurant, oh.. also chicken feet and xiaolongbao from HH yumcha restaurant ?"

"what ? Chicken feet ? Honey, don't you think the menus are to much ?"Nick confused.

"not too much. Anyway, Dad love chicken feet from that place and it's his special request".Alice answer while making her chicken rise.

speechless, Nick went to the restaurant as instructed. Before back home, He bought two served take away fried rice from Thai restaurant for lunch, he had been neglected since last night because of dinner.

"lets have lunch"

"oh no. I haven't made anything for our lunch" Alice clapped her forehead

He shown her the fried rice "sure, you abandon me as soon as you have my parent".

Her lips twitched "I knock some egg for you. scrambled egg, ok?"

"No thanks" He had enough of egg.

" here.. I know you will abandon me again" He placed the take away containers on the table.

"Do you need any help ?" Nick offered her hand after they finised lunch.

"I am ok. everything is ready. I just need to deep fried the chicken and make the stirfry veggie before dinner"Alice was very organised.

"How about chicken rice ?"

Alice pointed the half cook chicked rice "I will steam it this afternoon'

He gave her thumb up.

"I already put BBQ pork on the ovent. you just need to turn it on when you want to preheat it" Nick caressed her hair.

" Thank you, Darling. I am sorry I abandoned you" Alice kissed him.

Around 3 O'clock, bell rang, Nick checked the security monitor "I come down first". " what ?" Alice was arranging her cupcakes on dessert plate.

"I come down first. I need to open door to garage for dad"

" are they here ?"Alice excited.

"mm.." Nick took his remote control for the garage, key and garage.

15 minutes later, Nick, Mr and Mrs Feng entered the couple unit.

"Can you put it on the fridge"

Mrs Feng handed a cake box to Alice, while Mr Feng gave Nick a bottle of Wine.

Alice took the box and headed towards kitchen. She was back to living rooms about 5 minuted later and brought a full tea pot and 4 tea cups.

"have tea first. Where is the girls, mum?"

"They should be here soon. Sasha went out with Bella, Angie and Lisa. She is going to pick up Cacha first" Mum took a cup of tea.
