I heard he's getting married.

Oh, good for him!

But the truth is, my heart skip a beat after hearing that.

It's been three years since we broke up after seven years of a steady relationship. It's finally over, and yet... I'm still hurting.

For three years, I'm still holding on to our memories. His gaze that makes my world stops. His kiss that starts a fire within. His touch that makes me forget everything.

And now, he's getting married.

There's one moment that I could never forget. It was Valentine's day. We were young back then, and he could not afford to date me in a fancy restaurant, or even buy a flower for me. Instead, he gave me a card with those words:

"BE MINE FOREVER".

I'm not really sure if his proposing me back then. No ring, no foods, no flowers, nothing... but just the two of us, in a balcony with that moonlight illuminating his face. He shared his vision of us together, our little angels, our future family five years from that time.

There was nothing fancy celebrating our valentine's day, but I'm pretty sure he's the one I'm gonna spent the rest of my life with.

Indeed, five years come, and now he's marrying someone else.

Happiness is a choice.

He choose to be happy

... and I choose to live in the past.
