Chapter 4 : Dropping Her Home

Its been a week since the school started and everything was going normal for Amy. Though being new to the school her popularity had spread throughout the school, well for most part of it.She made a few friends and was going about as ususl with boring classes and lectures. Today as she was talking with her new best friend Emily outside her classroom she heard a familiar voice behind her. As she turned around she saw a boy standing 5'7 feet tall with black messy hair and dreamy brown eyes smiling back at her. "Oh it's you, Hi George so how come you are here." The boy grin got wider as he said "Hi Amy so you remember me this time I thought that I had to introduce myself again." Amy blushed a little as she got embarrassed as he continued "seems like lady luck is with me. I just came by to say hi to you." Emily who was standing beside Amy tugged her arm and asked for a introduction. "Oh yeah...…. George this is Emily my best friend and Emily this is George. So how did you find out which department I was in?" George laughed as he shook his hand with Emily and said" I just had to listen to a few guys gossip about the new school beauty and here I am. I was not sure if I would meet you but as I said lady luck seems to be on my side today. And by the way I am in the science department." They talked for a few minutes and finally said goodbye. "Hey Amy let's go home together after school I will wait by the gate." Without letting Amy answer George ran towards his class leaving her dumbfounded. After he left Emily asked her "hey Amy do you know him?" Amy who was in a state of confusion shook her head and said "No we just met a few days ago." Emily giggled and said "So is he your type, I think he's interested in you. And what can I saw he is a little cute and handsome." Amy just brushed it off and said "I don't have time for that. There were many who came and went and he's nothing special." The two girls chatted along for a bit till the bell rang and went to their classes. The day went by without anything new and soon the school was over. As Amy made her way out of the school she saw a lean, tall figure waving at her by the school gate. As she made her way through the crowd Emily said " Goodbye Amy, let's meet tomorrow. Goodbye George, take care of her for me." George smiled and nodded at her while Amy secretly glared at her friend and sent her off. "Let's go!" she said as George followed behind her. She thought this to be a one time event but alas she was wrong as the next day he again stood there waiting for her. This trend was slowly practiced everyday. At first Amy tried to stop him but he was too persistent and even when she was on the verge of explosion he just laughed and brushed her harsh comments aside. Once she was so irritated that she shouted at him "Why are you so stubborn, can't you just leave me alone." But the guy had had thicker skin than she had thought "Hey what are you getting so angry about I just want to go home and my home is on the same way as your home." Amy was so frustrated but could only give up and stomp her feet in anger. All along the way George told her about himself and his family. He told her about some of his mischiefs when he was small and some jokes. At first she just listened him talk and laughed at his jokes but slowly she too started to share things with him. She got to know that his father was also a businessman and that he had a brother who was 6yrs older than him who was doing some law course. George was a easy going, open minded person and she started to slowly open up to him. Emily would always tease her with Geoge but she always brushed it off as she knew that she just saw him as her friend.
