Somewhere in Vale...
It was late in the afternoon, and there was man in a black hood with his face covered by a grey Grimm mask, walking around a shady building with a 'package'.
He entered a shadowy room filled with shelves and a desk at the further back, slowly rolling along a trolley towards another masked man, who seemed to just finished a rather unsavory conversation with someone.
Thanking Oum above for having been wearing a mask to hide his consternation, the masked man approached a smoking man in a white suit and a bowler hat. He was trying to avoid the puff of circular smoke that he blew out at him through his cigar before placing a collection of Lien on his trolley.
He'd prefer not to say anything. According to his comrades, Roman Torchwick could be a complete dick towards their kind when he felt like it.
He was very good at making roasts, his own discriminatory and offensive jokes would even make the Faunus themselves laugh at it.
"Open it." Roman ordered.
The masked man complied, doing so with a crowbar on the trolley to reveal the shining collection of Dust Crystals within.
All shapes, sizes, and colors...So why did they need it? Who knew? It was all above this grunt's paygrade, but the added task placed on the poor chump's shoulders earlier, wasn't.
The Faunus just sighed before reluctantly holding out a Scroll, showing a video to the man on pause before he could reach for the crystals.
"The guys upstairs thought that you should watch it. The stuff went viral on Dust-tube all around the four Kingdoms just a few hours ago." The White Fang grunt informed.
"Ah, so they train their mutts to speak too, do they?" Roman stated with an entitled smirk as he took the Scroll, muttering in addition before pressing the play button.
"Hmmm...The zookeepers really think of everything these days...Wow, look at them go."
Roman was actually entertained at the video, he even took the Scroll from the grunt's hands and started helding it and watching the video closely.
"Oh look, its Lil' Red, still alive and swinging!....Holy moly poly, did the young tiger actually do that?" The criminal stated aloud in shock and amusement.
But after a few more seconds, as well as after watching the very public execution of a giant Grimm, his smirk went from condescending to downright predatory.
"Oh my, what a turnaround to my day this turned out to be. That was actually pretty cool. Hey you, Fluffy..."
"What?" The White Fang grunt hedged with evident restraint, making Roman being further pleased with the reaction.
"Tell your owners to feed you with extra treats tonight, you've earned it. Chop chop," He continued as he shoo'd away the increasingly miffed Faunus from the area.
The thief was even adding a few dog-whistles and tongue-clicks to add insult to injury.
"Ok...I have some few calls to make..."
Picking up his phone-sized Scroll, Roman waited for the dial tone to continue ringing as he leaned forward on the desk, staring at the bright red circle of permanent marker ink around Beacon before stating to no one in particular.
"This changes things..."
"I was going to say the same thing, Roman dear." A woman's voice suddenly came through the Scroll.
Torchwick cocked a brow as he realized the person on the other end was watching the same Dust-tube video, judging by the following exclamations of awe from the pre-recorded kids who were likely schooling in their brand new Beacon Uniform by now.
"By the way Roman, did Alfa come to you?"
Hearing that cursed name, Roman couldn't help on having some goosebumps. That Grimmling was quite overbearing and threatening when it comes to humans, especially when he meets him.
"No, that mad mutt never came to me..." Roman replyed.
The person on the other end was silent for awhile, probably thinking about something.
Changing to her view, she indeed was thinking of something, slightly sweating even. The young Mad Werewolf hasn't returned from his 'quick hunt' in the Emerald Forest for two days.
The Werewolf was precisely 'hunting' there due to the fact of him knowing that some fledgling hunters were doing their little test there.
She then remembered on the video she saw on Dust-Tube, about a certain silver-eyed teen wearing some suave attire while fighting Grimms, each being killed in a single blow.
'So many Beowolves were killed.....I think something happened...'
This just made the woman, Cinder, have some cold sweat. If the worst really happened, not only would she suffer the wrath of her Mistress, but also the 'Siblings' of the Werewolf.
She was left in charge to watch over him, afterall.

Fighting!
It was one of things that Jin found to be very enjoyable. He was battle eager but was not impulsive, completely unlike his twin sister.
But because of his strength and speed, his fights tends to be.....one-sided.
Either he overpowers his opponent with his sheer physical strength, or he ends the fight before it even began with his immense speed, or he completely outmatches his foe with his peerless combat skills/martial prowess.
Also, because of the overwhelming power of his Semblance and its myriad of uses, he also seems to be unmatched in a battle regarding Semblances.
Specially with his more overbearing Aura, being incredibly high in its quality and quantity.
Jin once tried to estimate the reserves of his own Aura by comparing the Aura reserves of other hunters and his own.
And the results he got: His Aura has the quality and quantity of twenty times more than an elite Aura user.
It basically means that Jin has 20x boost of all the benefits that Aura can provide for a hunter, as well as having the Aura pool equal to that of five elite hunter teams.
20x the already immense strength boost, 20x immense speed boost, 20x enhanced senses, 20x durability of the already 'unbreakable' Aura body armor, and so on and so forth.
This was the main reason for his overwhelming strength, not to mention his godly control of Aura, which made the power gap between him and the other younger generations of hunters even farther.
Add in his various techniques and trump cards in battle, he was pretty much unbeatable.
Lacking an opponent to truly go all-out with, this made Jin have some pride on himself, and in the same time, boredom.
He seeks the thrill of fighting. He wanted to fight opponents that are equally or even stronger than him, but so far, finding such a guy proved to be quite difficult.
That was until Jin met the Werewolf. He truly enjoyed the fight he had with the Grimm, as he actually had to use almost all of his strength.
In that fight, Jin really had his fighting instincts roused up and he actually had to think critically.
The feeling of danger, rapid heart beats, equal exchange of blows, and even actually feeling pain! It was all fun and thrilling for him.
And even though it would be bad, but a part of him wanted Grimms like the Werewolf to be numerous, just so he can satisfy his desire for a proper and hard fight.
Even thinking about multiple ones ganging up on him, had his blood boiling in anticipation.
But for now, Jin has to suffer on doing some one-sided fights...again.
Yes, right now, Jin and his friends were sitting on the classroom of Combat Class 101! Supervised by our very own Professor Goodwitch.
'Well, at least I can learn some brand new fighting styles here, hehe. And I might as well teach these lot to be better at their style.'
Many of the students here were eager to begin on making some prestigous names for themselves among their peers in the sparring ring.
Hence the reason why most of the students were enthusiastic, especially the battle eager Ruby. But to be fair, the rest were also considerably restless.
All of the students here were not in their Academy uniform. They were dressed with their combat attire, as well as having their own weapons brought in with them.
Jin himself was wearing a black traditional Kung Fu uniform with silver linings. The outfit had his Silver Tiger Emblem at the back and he was bare-handed.
Honestly, this was the only class where the students would actually pay attention to and participate. They were hot-blooded youths afterall, and they always love a good fight.
Many were talking, gossiping and was messing around, including his friends. They were all energetic, especially those battle eager individuals.
Well, everyone was generally pumped up, except for Jaune, who just had his head on the desk.
'Makes sense...He is a faker afterall...No offense though...' Jin thought.
He knows that of all the lessons that Jaune had been looking forward to, he wouldn't add Combat Class in the list.
Not just because Jaune wasn't confident about himself with it comes to fighting, but he also didn't know how to fight very well.
Or at least, not normally. His friends already told him that he has alot Aura, which means more strength, speed, and durability. He may be able to outmatch his opponents with those factors if he does his things right.
'Hmmm, should I be the one to teach him instead of Pyrrha? Just like what I did with Yang...Oh well, I'll act depending on the new situation, now that my presence is here.'
Following that thought, Jin suddenly sensed an Aura signature approaching in the distance. He then looked at his still bustling classmates and he warned out loud.
"Incoming, guys. Best behavior." He quickly noted.
His peers only looked at him for a moment, their gazes basically questioning him on 'why'. But the other students understood his warning and they immediately sat properly.
Afterall, they did see Glynda pausing at the threshold of the door while typing in her Scroll.
This just made Weiss, Blake and the entirety of team JNPR to crack a small smirk. Jin's judgements has yet to fail them, they could learn to trust on that.
"Now class, settle down," Glynda announced as she walked in the classroom, only to find the bustling thrum of students.
Which was understandable. They were still in the starting days in Beacon, they haven't properly adapted to the rules yet.
But, Miss Goodwitch would be sure to fix that promptly, "Settle, DOWN."
And as if controlled by an external force, every student fell silent and immediately sat in their seats with a proper and rigid posture.
Even the already behaving students were not spared.
This just Glynda have a small smirk of satisfaction. Afterall, it was all done by her Semblance -Telekinesis- that made them forcefully comply at once.
She's always been like this to a rowdy lot, and looks like she's still got it.
"Now, let's see," Glynda idly noted.
She was walking towards the center of her room, letting a few more seconds roll by with every student in telekinetic lockdown to let the might of her Semblance sink in.
'Hmm...My skin is slightly tightening and my heart beat is getting faster than the normal. My body seems to be sending me some minor warning signals,' Jin thought.
'So Glynda's Semblance can be a threat to me, huh.'
Even the Elite Student himself was made a victim...
He did not like the idea of being surpressed, especially when the one doing it is 'weaker' than him. His pride didn't allow any of it.
'Hehe, nice trick. But if I coat my body with thick repelling Aura and have my Semblance coarse through inside my body, then I can forcefully break out, and if not, then resist her Telekinesis...'
Repelling Aura, it refered to Jin's special way of using Aura to repel or push away any foreign forces or objects from his body. He can fully control this skill, so wouldn't worry on having his clothes also 'repelled'.
And with that, Jin managed to break free from the invisible force and he crossed his arms, smirking at the also smirking Instructor.
This just made the disciplinarian freeze in her steps in shock, as she saw the Elite Student suddenly moving around without her control.
Glynda didn't expect this show of defiance so soon, even at Beacon's very own Elite Student. But she was impressed at his adaptability nonetheless.
'It seems someone is eager to capitalize on their newly-earned fame...' She thought.
But too bad that the other students didn't get to see the Elite Student's audacious display.
While in the middle of doing something on her Scroll, Glynda spoke out, "Lets see...Everyone seems to be present...Good! Now lets begin."
With that, she then looked up and she released her telekinetic hold on them, giving the students a placid smile on their faces as they loosened themselves out of their pain-inducing positions or otherwise gasped for air.
Well, except for the young man wearing a Kung Fu outfit.
