The Tsundere CEO

"It's okay. You'll be okay."

I say as I try to calm myself before walking in to the new office building of my now new job.

It didn't help that the building was huge and intimidated. It was circular in shape and mostly had windows around it. I heard it stretches up too almost 100 floors. But even that wasn't as bad as what I had heard about my new boss.

"He's horrible."

"I heard all he ever does is yell."

"Woah you got put there? Someone got the short end of the stick."

"Sure that CEO is handsome but no one would ever be able to put up with that personality."

The worst part, I was going to be his new assistant. I had to be constantly with him. All the other people that worked with him had always either gotten fired or quit. Because not only was he ruthless and didn't care about anything. He valued work and himself so so much that he would say in a nonchalant attitude "They weren't doing a good enough job." even if they were perfect. And on top of all that he would also constantly compliment how "beautiful" he was. Which even I couldn't deny despite the fact that i'm not interested in dating.

"Haley you really stand no chance." I said to myself as I walked through the doors of the unfamiliar building.

When I got in my eyes widened, this place was spotless, as well as huge and beautiful. You never could guess that the most ill-tempered man works here.

I walked in awe towards the elevators. I was told to not be late under any circumstances, or I would be fired on the spot. Since I didn't want to be late I made sure I was there 20 minutes early just in case.

I went up to the floor 98 where me and the CEO would be sharing a floor. Just the two of us. He insisted it this way because he needed his assistant at his side at all times but he didn't want the people around him to be loud. Which sounded just dumb in my opinion but who was I say something like that about him?

I made it up to the floor and saw my desk. The CEO didn't arrive yet which was good because I was told to always arrive before him.

"If he's early be earlier."

I wasn't sure how I was going to manage that but I guess I could try.

I looked through my desk for about 15 minutes and exactly at 9am the CEO walked in. He seemed to be very punctual. Which I then took a mental note to always be on time with him. For basically the 4th time today.

He turned to the side and looked at me I could see him perfectly. I had only ever heard that he was attractive but I never believed that it could have been true. When his eyes locked with mine I felt an amazingly terrifying aura. He was around 6'2, perfectly built with very wide shoulders that his suit wrapped around nicely. He had black hair and pale skin, the kind you would see on a k-pop idol. And his eyes were a beautiful hazel. But as they said his personality did ruin that look of his.

"You're the new assistant? Good thing your not pretty the last one doted on herself too much. But since you have nothing to look at, that should be solved well actually I don't know." he said with a hint of confusion and continued "The last girl wasn't pretty but she sure thought she was. We'll have to see then." He said with an arrogant tone and sat down at his desk opposite of mine.

Should I be offended cause he said that or should I be normal because he's my boss and a powerful typhoon.

I got up and walked next to his desk to greet him.

"Hello I am your new assistant Haley, and you will not have to worry as I am not obsessed with myself, you should be safe." I said holding back my rage and smiling politely.

"Hmm.... that's good" he said nonchalantly and got up towards the mirror on the wall next to him and start to talk about how wonderful he looked.

I sighed and tried to give him the run down of what his schedule looked like today.

"Today your schedule consi-"

He cut me off and said in a cocky tone with a completely straight face "Don't talk about work when i'm admiring art." What even? I mean seriously. I have never in my life met someone who was so much of a narcissist and who was as shameless as him.

There is no way i'm going to be able to survive everyday with someone like this. Not only did he call me ugly, he openly calls himself a piece of art.

What am I gonna do?

I was suddenly brought back to reality when I heard his deep voice say.

"Stand next to me so I look better while giving me a run down of the schedule. Which you should have already done."

Thats it by the end of this week i'm jumping off the roof of this building.
