26 Do I end this here?

It's a question I've been thinking about for the last while. It actually started about 5 chapters through the revisions- after working out the plot to a certain point, I couldn't see myself doing much more without repeating myself in some way, and began wondering how to finish it. Using the world item from the deep darkness dragon lord? Incredibly obvious if I don't want it to be harsh and abrupt. Memoirs from the eight greed kings or possibly the evil deities, with an added possibility of some of them being guild members? Practically cliche at this point. The only thing I could think of was ending it with some 1984 style absolute dictatorship... And while that would suit the 'immortal overlord', I'm not particularly fond of writing dark and depressive sh*t.

Following this train of thought, I kind of had a meltdown. Then I looked at other possibilities so I could at least ask you all for an opinion on it. My options (the ones I actually thought decent) were:

For the crossovers:

Escanor (Seven Deadly Sins) in either the universe of Once Upon a Time (Netflix series) or Hellsing Ultimate (Abridged or not idk) - reasons being the unfulfilled but true love between Merlin and Escanor coupled with his travelling while outlawed getting him to the enchanted forest, and just simply that it would be interesting due to his powers being active mainly during the day while most of the fighting being at night.

The Incredibles family in My Hero Academia - Hero's oppressed in one, quirkless in the other, and the family would be aged a bit so Jack-Jack (Now just Jack) could join the academy.

Re:Creators and (Name a series) - Honestly this is an incredible anime to experiment with and just in general... Plus the music is perfect in every way, but I digress.

Familiar of Zero and (Name a series) - Much amusement to be had with this one, especially if you have a sturdy male character that won't take kindly to being 'bullied' by their 'master'.

Arifureta and (Absolutely nothing because I don't like it) - You will never get me to do anything on this *$£% no matter how much yo *£^*%^g beg.

Toushirou Hitsugaya in (Any school anime) - For the simple reason that he's amazing and would also hate it.

Ones I haven't thought through:

Knights and magic

Not crossovers:

Seven Deadly Sins - Just as a general rule, I like the anime.

Doki Doki Literature Club - Because why the heck not?

Highschool DXD - Akeno is the one and only if I go for this. #No-harem-harem-anime

Akame Ga Kill - So sad. But be warned that not everyone will survive, that's one of the main points about the anime after all.

Yugioh ARC-V - And I hear the entire crowd go silent. Just brilliant. In all honesty it's far better than it's predecessors... And infinitely better than it's descendant.

Also, many apologies, but I was actually not going to bring this up until just earlier and pretend everything's fine, but delaying putting this out would probably only make you all even more angry at me. But despite that, if you think of a better novel choice please tell me... And if you REALLY want this project carried on I'll just either give everyone comment access to the google docs, check it every now and then and give edit access to reasonable commentators, before updating the novel and stating the names of the people who wrote the chapter or outright abandon it. I don't think I'd improve much if I wrote something I wasn't actually enthusiastic about, and in the end that's all this was. Besides, I'd like to think of myself as ever so slightly better now, so the next one will (hopefully) be of a higher quality.

P.S - I'll keep rolling updates on the polls for the next week. Currently reading up on everything I need for a proper second draft of my English Essay, to be handed in for three weeks from now (In other words, the middle of my holiday... Yup.) and that'll probably drain my week anyways.
