If teachers are good, the concepts of the subjects they're teaching will appear very simple. Sometimes even too simple.

Once a subject appears too simple, the motivation to pay attention will decrease drastically.

If however a teacher isn't as proficient, their courses will appear unnecessarily complex leading towards students giving up on them.

Thus a careful balance needs to be found.
