Beggars

"Fake" beggars have a symbiotic relationship with casual donaters. The donaters get to feel good about themselves, whilst the "fake" beggars get money.

In more affluent areas, there just might not be enough beggars available. Thus, "generous" people aren't able to donate to a not so well off person in order to boost their own ego.

These people faking sob stories and disabilies are all a part of a very delicate ecosystem that shouldn't be tampered with.
