6 Knowledge & A New Gem

I went to the road just like the guild master told me to. The reason I want to go to the library because before starting the game I want to have a complete knowledge about this games world. And because of that, I have to study the books of this world as known as "The Beginners Guide".

It was stated in the games catalog that the beginners guide can be found in the libraries of each realm.

After entering the library I found an old man sleeping on the couch residing there. He suddenly woke up, must be because of my footsteps.

" Hello young man, How can I help you?" he asked me.

" Well, I was looking for the books about this world. Where can I find those?"

" You can go upstairs. You will find everything you need right there."

"Oh Thanks geezer"

" May I ask why do you seek the knowledge of this world?"

" Well I have become an adventurer just a while ago. So before sailing for any journey I want to know what I am up against perhaps."

" That's Strange. You are the first adventurer in this library who have ever come to seek knowledge. Its a very rare sight to see in this old age hahaha"

" Hahahaha, That's an honor I guess for me being the first ever "

" Well Good Luck and have a prosperous journey ahead."

The library was like a maze. I was lost for a while when I was finding the stairs for going to the 2nd floor. They could have used some signs -_-

After looking for a while I found some books about this world. I picked on book titled ' The Chronicle Of Realmville '. The book seemed locked. While trying to open it, I saw a pop-up

" PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE BOOK "

I did as it stated.

" VERIFICATION CONFIRMED, PLAYER MODE ACTIVATED"

I guess the books are also varied by players and npcs. Because, for a player this books are beginners guide but for the NPC's these are historical books. Nice idea by the developers.

I checked the table of contents. It was divided by some various sections. First I checked the 'Player Guide". The was obviously the job classifications and the attacks list every classes and sub classes could use. It was stated that every class except could use magics but how much they could use will depend on their class and aura. I do know about the classes and subclasses. There are 7 aura types in this game. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Purple. Each aura type has its own natural magical attribute the players can use. Which are respectively, Fire, Water, Earth, Thunder, Wind and Beast.

I know Im one aura and attribute short. Its Dark aura. There are no details about this aura and it seems like this aura doesn't have any attribute or anything. The game didn't planned anything for this yet I guess.

Oh yes! There are some more stuffs written here. The amount of magic a player can use could be find from their aura color. If a players aura color is light, then that player would be able to use less magic on the other hand, the player with the darker aura color would be able to use more magic.

Personally, I like the blue color most. So I want the blue aura and obviously the darker one. But I also like the fire attribute. I can't actually set my mind on a aura or attribute lol.

Well, lets see what fate has for me. We will see it in the next weeks Job Selection Ceremony.

There was this creature level and list as well. There are 5 creature level. They are classified according to their strength and power. Those can be low, medium, high, legendary and god.

Except the God level creature, the rest of the level can be found in the forests or in the dungeons.

Dungeons are the place where various types of loots could be found which could be sell or use. The higher the dungeon level the higher the loot rate is. Every once in a while, The God Level creature will spawn in a temporary dungeon for a certain time. Not to mention, the loot rate is sky catching as well. The system will give some sort of signal when it spawns like a massive thunder strike and every player will get the notification and the location of the spawn. Players who will get to clear that dungeon will get reward from the system as well and that reward could be convert into real world currencies as well.

Well, thats something pretty amazing. Like the game is literally paying you to play the game clear a dungeon, which means the dungeon isn't obviously a child's play.

There are something more written here. If a player fails to clear the dungeon and dies in the process, he or she will have his account progress deleted and will have to start over the game again.

Wait, what? Are you kidding me? Are you literally kidding me??!!! The developers can't be serious are they?

DAMNN!! Thats too much rough and harsh. Like the players efforts and time will be whoosh into nothingness. These dungeons must be something!

After looking through the beginners guide for a while I decided to leave the game for now.

I have now gathered the knowledge I needed before starting the game. Now from tomorrow I will start the game by a full on strategy.

WHOA! I sound too much serious about this game ! Thats not obvious. Its the first time I have ever been so excited about a game. Not a visible enthusiasm but a hidden one, an excitement burning with a cold flame. I longed for something different to happen, something so exciting and new that it will carry me along with it like a great tide, something that lets your life blaze and burn so the whole world can see it.

After logging out from the game, I felt dizziness. I guess It was because of diving into the VR for long for the first time. I checked the clock, it was 4 am. I should get a good sleep now. I opened my phone and was checking the 'Heir Of Legend Online Forum' and fell asleep the moment I laid my body on the bed.

My woke up hearing the door bell all of a sudden. I checked the time on my phone, it was 10.17 am. Darn It! I didn't get the amount of sleep I wanted to because of that bell. Who the hell came at this moment?!

I got down from the bed and opened the door.

" Heyyy !!! How are you bro? Long time no see "

It was that Yohan from the next door. The level 19 noob .

" What do you need this early in the morning?" I asked grumpily

" Early in the morning? What are you saying bro? Its already 10.30 ! Are sick or what?"

"Dude I dont get up from my sleep before 2 Pm on my holidays, you basically ruined my whole day !! "

" Ohh nevermind that bro ! Let's play Heir of Legend together ! I got my job yesterday. I really wanna play more with now having the job !!!"

" Go to hell with your job ! Now let me sleep ! "

" Bro, Don't be like that, Please play with me ! I dont have anyone to play with in the game "

" Why do you need to play with a noob like me? Im not even level 5 yet ! You might have plenty of good peeps on you list right now "

" That doesnt matter, I though since I will be leaving beside you for I dont know how long, we are pretty much like family as we both live alone ! So we should bond more ! "

That hit me hard though. Anyway,

" Well, why the hell are you standing right there? Come inside " I asked him

I made some tea for both of us.

" Whats your level right now?" I asked him

" I'm level 27 right now."

" Wow! That's pretty quick progress ! You must be pro !!"

" Lmao no, dont embarrass me saying that."

" So what job did you get?"

" Its not that big deal or something, I got Berserker "

" Are you legit serious? Its not a big deal? You nuts or what? Its one of the advanced subclass and a fighter class. That's a insane job you got dude !!"

" You think so?"

" I think so? I would pay anything for it lol "

" Hahahaha Then it must be something lmao !!"

" By the way, whats your magical attribute?"

" Mine is Beast magic. I dont know why I got it thought lol "

" Is the aura light or dark?"

" Its Dark"

" Dude !! Your sooo lucky !! You must be destined to be a god level player in this game :0 "

" NO way dude !! Your overestimating me a lot , dont say anything like that lol !!"

Ever since my parents got separated, I have always chosen to be alone. Never took any initiatives on making new bonds.Getting to know new people and gaining new friends is one of life's greatest pleasures. I have never seek that pleasure. The great thing about new friends is that they bring new energy to your soul and I dont know why I can feel that energy around Yohan. I had the same feeling when I met Diane. They say " Each friend represents a world to us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born" and I can see a new world coming towards me with this halfwit.
