For magicians of Noseth, the six towers equivalent to the Parthenon of Gods, located at the center of Sacred city.

The towers were not a restricted place, people could freely visit the tower to just had a free tour at the lower area opened for the public. As for mages of decent power, they would come an asked for testing from the tower of their affinity.

There were six attributes in this world for magic; fire, water, air, earth, light, dark.

Most people tended to be good in one of 6 attributes, those with more could be call prodigy but they would become a jack of all trade if they try to be good in everything. The grandmaster was the title only those with the status of Archwizard could attain, for centuries only those with magician's bloodline or born of noble birth could become the grandmaster.

Although the six towers did not have political power, getting a rank in the towers was a symbol of prestige and glory for every mage.

Some institutes of magic like Asanee sect eclipsed some small state by far with their funds and manpower.

Some free knight orders had the strength to easily destroy uncivilized demihuman village if they would like and most of them would sometime be done so when they were free and in need of money and slaves.

Most sovereigns tried to be on their good side rather than a bad side. Even dean of the lesser magic academy could hold his head high when met with the leader of small city-states.

As for the six magic towers, even the major states leader like Ramale Republic consul or leader of Commonwealth of the lake must lower their head a little in front of six grandmasters.

However, by now their former prestige was gone, six grandmasters were the title of the past.

In the first place, the place of six towers was coincidence arranged into hexagram shape surrounding the hill in the center that the Parthenon of Gods was situated surrounding the inner hill, this hill was a hill of origin the birthplace of intelligent being that was sent through the gate of beginning.

The place also close to the main river of Noseth only a few distances away from the light tower at the north, and called as a sacred ground by most intelligent races. The place thus became trade, religion and knowledge center ruled by no one, worshiped by everyone, most people even the ambitious sovereign did not dare to show their fangs except for David as he eyed this place for his capital and center of power.

When David finished with the Ramale civil war and his campaign against the commonwealth, his power in the central plain was unmatched by any other before him.

By then the time was right for David, he decided to turn back and finish his unfinished job, dealing with magician's world, instead of brute he took political measure by using the influence of himself who became the grandmaster of fire towers through a duel and also a leader of hegemony state in the continent, one of his wife who was a grandmaster of wind tower and Woden his trusted friend who was a grandmaster of light tower, David also shamelessly asked for help from pontiff in church of Lightbringer after the secret meeting, he agreed to help him win over the Mass if David would provide him with a prominent role in the Parthenon of Gods later, little did the pontiff knew David accepted with secret agenda of his own.

Of course, there was a resisted from the other 3 towers but they lose nonetheless, therefore the hill at the center was used by David as his capital.

David also used a new type of powerful weapon, "propaganda", a powerful weapon that could be used to dehumanize and created hatred toward the enemy or designed to encourage civilians and improved public relations.

The plebs believed it and David turn the former free sacred city with no ruler into his own, and with his control over the sacred ground David's rule was justified as a sovereign with true divine right because he received the mandate of heaven from the god, not like noble who just happen to inherit the previous ruler's blood.

David used the former six tower as multi-purpose towers and connected all of them by large roads forming the shape like "star of David" when looked from the sky, he also changed the name of the city into Xinping, at that time he still used the city of Ramale as the state capital in name, though. The city was under reconstructed for a few years, in one event the main road could not continue because the part from a temple of certain god was there so David had to relocate the temple to the other site.

After became an emperor, in the eighth month after his coronation, David pushed forth his last step against magician's world, he ordered all magic teachings to be burned except those that genuine and already proof as efficient, otherwise only copy books to reserve for use in historical research in the future would remain inside the universal library of Xinping archive.

To promote the same mindset and efficient way of learning magic, David closed more than hundred sects and academies across the continent demolished them to the ground if resisted and open the state-run magic academies in every city of reasonable size, which would teach not only magic of both side but other subjects such as mathematics and natural science which was regard as a low tier knowledge in the noble and magician eye.

The compulsory education program also contains magic teaching and opened for everyone from primary school through secondary school. This acted greatly improve the chance for the lower class to study and brought the mass to the side of the emperor.

In opposition, the remain conservative nobles and magician could only grit their teeth but could not do anything.
