"Look Ivis, Flora, I awakened to my system."
A young girl of 15 showed off the power she had gained when she woke up that morning to me. Her face radiated with a joy that the others in the room also shared.
I focused at the small glowing light that appeared above her finger tips. It flickered every now and then and eventually faded. Charlotte noticed its disappearance and on her face was a dispirited look appeared on her face.
"Don't worry Charlotte you just awakened it's fine." Mother comforted her with the fact that she had only awakened just now.
"Your mother is right Charlotte you just awakened to a system, even if it is a Mythical system, The rarest system rank, you won't become amazing in an instant. You will develop really fast though." My father affirmed my mother's words giving Charlotte a boost in her spirits.
"Char what was your system named?" The voice of a girl asked. The person was my younger sister Flora taking after my mother she inherited her brown hair with red streaks, but still inherited Father's golden eyes like me and Charlotte.
What is she referring too? I think the system name is what the system helps the user achieve.
"Oh it's umm," Charlotte paused to check, "The [Arch-Mage System] is what it's called."
Sparkles appeared in the eyes of Flora. "So you will be Arch-Mage in the future?"
Her amazement was apparent but she's already 12 she shouldn't be that amazed... right?
"Yep. So Ivis I'm going to become an Arch-Mage and I'll let you be my assistant 'kay." She looked straight at me declaring my future profession and it looked like I wouldn't be having a choice.
Still...
"No I refuse with all I can." I turned away.
"You can't refuse." She grinned.
"I refuse with all I have then."
Her eyes narrowed.
"Oh? So you want to refuse see what happens when I become an Arch-Mage. I'll have an assistant with no place for you." She said.
"Alright." I got up from my seat and . I had finished eating already.
One of the workers came and took my plates and glass to the kitchen to clean.
"Ivis when you awaken I promise I'll always be better than you." Charlotte made another declaration which I would normally respond to with a "no" or a "sure" but this time I responded with a declaration of my own.
"I declare here and now I'll surpass you easily."
I said it as a joke and Charlotte probably also took it as one. But well you see... I did exactly that.
Pretty cool I know.
