Synopsis

Chapter 1beginning

I swept the tears from my sunken eyes, I had stayed up all night thinking about the perfect way to say goodbye to my father.

We were hardly ever apart, I was so attached to him I almost always felt that we might as well conjoin. I knew it wasn't a healthy relationship and he knew it too, quite frankly, he was the one pushing me away, telling me that I needed friends to hang around with ; and many people did want to hang around me, but I nearly always had plans (that is, with my father of course).

Not too long ago, about a month ago to be more precise, my father remarried to a lady called Jane. To me she isn't really special, just another blonde with an agitating Aussie accent- but to him, well, it was like he tried to dig for gold and ended up pulling out a a casket of buried treasure. To say the least, he adores her, and I'm happy for him. Though, she seems to stare at me often, and not in a dull way, it's as if she's trying to kill me with her eyes, like she's thinking of every possibility on how to rip my head from my body and get away with it. It's worrying.

They were going on a honeymoon to God knows where, my step-mother refused to give me any details except for 'It' none of your business', and they decided that I should stay by my Uncle's house down by Forks for the period of time to finish the rest of the semester.

In all honesty, I never even knew that it existed, and I thought it white funny that it was called 'Forks'. What an odd name.

My Uncle was very close to my father, although they hardly ever saw each other in person- I mean, he was nearly always on his phone texting his sanity away, and every time I was brave enough to look over his shoulder, it was nearly always Joe.

Kicking my feet off the table, I stumbled my way down the stairs, the lone suitcase that I owned sat idley by the door awaiting departure. I immediately smelt the savoury aroma that could only be the breakfast that I only assumed my father was preparing, and I followed into the kitchen.

And, I wasn't wrong. There he was, leaning over the stove, a small bead of sweat rolling down his cheek as he concentrated on the bacon sizzling on the stove, and I checked my surroundings, the Hawk wasn't here (the nickname I call her behind her back - my father hates it), and I started to unwillingly cry. Small sobs escaped my lips as I felt tears start to trickle, and I covered my mouth, but I'm always just too slow.

He turned to face me, and his eyes widened, "Cory!"

He dripped the spatula and ran over to my still figure, looking at me once more before embracing," why are you crying? Geez, I swear I can't leave you anywhere!"

He started laughing, his face brightening up instantly, and I couldn't help but grin too.

"I'm making breakfast for you, and just for you. But please hurry up, we have to leave soon."

He released me and returned to his post by the stove, picking up the utensil to wash it off before using it again," make sure you have everything too, I don't want to have Joe calling me to bring thing for you."

I rolled my eyes as I pulled a stool from the table to sit," yeah yeah, that's great. And, I should be the one complaining, YOU are taking ages to cook! I will have no time to eat anything!"

"Now now, that's no way to talk to your father, you should apologise."

I didn't even have to turn to see who it was, and I mumbled under my breath," just great, the hawk."

She strolled in, her annoying heels clicking against the marble floor, and she found her place next to my father, kissing him on the cheek. She watched me with daggers as he kissed her back," good morning sweetie," she knew how much it got on my nerves, that's why she waited for me to be downstairs- of course, she's a hawk, she waited for her prey to fall into her trap before she went to attack. Diabolical.

I groaned," you know what," I dragged the stool back, standing up in defeat," I don't feel hungry, why don't we just pack up and go, I'll be in the car waiting."

"But the plane leaves in three hours, we have enough time to get there," she put on a fake voice, I wish I could just rip her from the page in my family's book.

"Great, that means I can get you out of my sight earlier."

I pulled through the entire car trip to the airport, which lasted about 30 minutes, in utter silence, I didn't want to talk as I felt somewhat betrayed. He always sided with her, and I hated it- it was like she cast a spell on him or used magical powers, just like the stories he used to tell me about, about witches and werewolves, and vampires.

Though I never believed him, it always used to keep me up at night, and embarrassingly, to this day I use a night light, who knows what's waiting for you in the dark?

"Out you go, squirt," my father leaned over the open door, smiling at me with sparkles in his eyes.

I sighed, shaking my head slightly," okay."

My suitcase was already waiting for me on the sidewalk, people rushing around in a blur. Planes flew overhead, and I unconsciously guessed if any of the planes could be the one I was destined to fly on. I grabbed the handle, contempt on leaving," well.. this is goodbye."

"Don't say that," he pulled me into a shockingly expected hug," you'll see me again... Soon."

The pause in-between his words caught me off guard, but I took nothing serious to it," have fun. Don't die, and don't do anything stupid."

He rolled his eyes," it's like you don't know me at all."

Sliding out of his strong grasp, I unwillingly turned to the hawk impatiently lounging in the car," Goodbye."

She responded with a meek smile, one which you would use to be polite to a person you despise, and I shuddered," it'll be too soon before I see you."

"Too soon," I muttered under my breath while merging into the crowd.

Becoming The Admin Of A Dimensional Chuunibyo Chat Group Isn't Easy!

A man of unknown age and background died under unique circumstances, even his past being shrouded in a thick layer of mystery. He forgot everything about himself except for some 'memories' after he died and met an extremely muscular dog-eared man with a fluffy dog tail, ruining the fantasy of the man who adores fantasy so much, specially fantasy creatures such as beastkin, elves, and etc. It was an extremely disgusting sight, he thought. "Would bleaching my eyes remove this cursed image from my memory?" After receiving his reincarnator privileges, he embarked on his journey to reincarnation. Watch as Shirokami Shun, the Admin of a Dimensional Chat Group that mysteriously has only girls — and allows only girls — as its members. He is the only exception because the group chat is his. They travel to different worlds, gaining more unique powers and friends in the process. These journeys, although extremely fun in their own ways, were not without danger, though. …Especially when you have group members such as these guys. "I, the Great Archdemon, Queen of all Hell, shall conquer Earth! Ah-Hahahaha!" "Hah! I can see through your fake facade through my [Tyrant's Eye]!" "I'm the President and Founder of the Survival Club! There, we learn about things that we should do in case aliens, supernaturals, gods, or monsters invade our world!" "Hamburg-san~—" "—Is delish nodesu!" "Ehehe… I wonder if what I'm doing is correct? Umm… uuh… I'll buy this skill to not get hurt! I hate pain, after all." "*sigh*… Should I just change the name of this Dimensional Chat Group to Dimensional Chūnibyō Group…?" I'm extremely tempted to do so. Quest after quests, the group of wild cards and misfits will unknowingly do almost anything to somehow create troubles for themselves. From unknowingly provoking the villains to just acting like their normal selves and still somehow managing to create troubles in the process, this group will go around different dimensions to wreak havoc! Divided, they can't create too much waves. But together? They might as well send their résumé to the higher ups in order to become the next-in-line to becoming a God of Destruction or a God of Chaos. "EX—PLOOOOOOOOOOOSION!" "Wait, you're not supposed to be appearing here, you troublemaker!" "Hey Shun! Aren't you supposed to be my partner! Come back here in my dimension and help me manage the dungeon! Uh, never mind! Let's just go to another dimension and let us create a dungeon there!" "Which dimension are we going to now, Shun-san? Can I come? I want to make new f-friends!" Right… Why did I invite them in this group chat, again? Unknowingly, Shun got too used to the initial cast that he thought the girls he came across to and invited were all relatively normal in his eyes. Thus, the weird band of misfits continued to grow. ———————— Note: Don't expect a phenomenal quality of writing. I don't speak English during my daily life so expect some errors here and there.
