It was the year of 2016 when I first entered a high school. Today was 2 years I have been there. This year was my last year and graduated. It was really a great year and many activities are held for the senior year. I'm just 17 years old about to turn 18.

I come back from my high school and drove home. I drove myself to school.

"Mama, I'm home!" I yelled. No answer. Where is she? "Mama! "I called. "where were you?!" I'm searching for her.

I went to upstairs and realize my mother door room was opened. I saw my mother body laid on the floor and her blood keep flowing out from her stomach. Am I dreaming? My tear suddenly rolling down my cheeks.

"Mama" I sobbed. "Mama...." I try to wake her up but didn't have responded. I look into her stomach. She has been shot. I cover my mouth and hold my cry. 

I need to call my father. "why he didn't answer? " I cried and frustrated. I stood up and call the ambulance. She looks unconscious. The call hasn't picked up. "your emergency services, what can I help you? "a man voice. "my mama has been...shot at her stomach. Her blood keeps flowing out I can't stop it." I said with a shaky voice and crying. I don't know what to do. "can you tell the address of your house?" the man said. "I will send you the address. Please come faster... Please"I said with a teary voice. "Okay, we will, mam. " the man replied and ended the call. 

After a few minutes, the ambulance has arrived. The paramedic came into my house and place my mama on the stretcher. "Thanks, god" I relieved. "Mama, you will be okay," I said. I kissed her forehead. My tear keeps rolling down my cheeks. I wiped it off. 

Police have come and asked me questions according to this accident. I told them the details.

I drove to the hospital and call my father. He didn't answer the call. "Oh, dad where were you?" I cried. It was about night time. 

Arrived at the hospital. My mother place to ICU. The doctor said they can save her. I thanked the doctor. I have to call my father again. Call again. 

"dad, mama was in critical condition. Please come back. "I said to myself and cried. I wait for the doctor come out. "she is in stable condition but,  do not stress her out, "the doctor said. I nodded my head. "Thank you, doctor. I really appreciate your help." I said. "My pleasure, it's my job to save people in need." the doctor said. I wait outside the ICU. I pray for my mama. 

Suddenly my phone ringing. Who phone number is this? I thought. I picked it up. I clearing my throat. "Hello. Who is this? "I asked. There a long answer from the phone call. "your father is here with us. I want you to come here silently and follow my rules. Si?" a man said with a thick Italian accent. 

"oh my God, who are you? "I asked again with a weak voice. Tear-falling down my cheeks. Why did my father with them?  "you don't need to know, who I am, " the voice said. "first rules: don't call the police. Secondly, don't bring anyone just you. It just the simple rules or else we will be hurting your father. Si?" the man said.  "okay I will do it, please do not hurt him. "I said"As if you follow the rules. I will send the address to your phone. " the man said. The phone call ended. I told the nurse to keep eyes on my mother. I walked out of the hospital and went into my car. 

I drove my car to the location. It was really dark along the road. I was afraid. Finally, arrive at the big gate and the sign said Romano resident area. I have heard that name before from friend at the school. They say the first son very handsome and attractive mafia but I really don't care about him. They are an Italians. The girls always talk about him.

The guard allowed me to come in. The mansion was really dark and cold. I came out of the car and walked toward the front door. I knocked the door politely. Knock! Knock! I wait for someone to open the door. 

Suddenly, two guards grab my arm and blindfold my eyes. "let me go! " I said. I need to fight back. I step on one of the man feet. "don't fight back or you want any consequences, " one of them said. I feel a needle entered on to my neck. They ejected me with a drug. My eyes were suddenly started to feel heavy. I close my eyes. 

When I opened my eyes I realized that I was at the prison. I laid down on the cold surface and sit up. My head feels heavy. "Ouch, my head feels so dizzy, " I said to myself. I lifted my eyes up and see a man look alike my father figure. He was here. "oh my God, dad! Are you okay? " "dad, wake up" I cried. He was tied up with rope and tape on his mouth. He looks weak. I untied the rope and take off the tape of his mouth. He opens his eyes slowly. "oh my daughter, Olive. How was your mama, Olive?" my father hug me tightly.

"Mama...Mama... She... At the hospital. And her condition very critical dad. "I cried and hug him.

"I shouldn't have done this, " my father said and averted his head down. " what is it, dad? " I asked and touch his face. " what... happened? "I asked with a teary voice. Did he do something wrong?  

He clearing his throat. "Yesterday, the biggest mafia of our country came to see all the court judge after the judgment of his brother because his brother caught on killing innocent people. Then I sentence him the dead for the punishment because the law says that were right. The mafia leader threatened me to canceled his brother punishment but it cannot be canceled because we follow the law. The mafia leader threatened me about my family. I can't say no and just break the laws. They kidnapped me and they want my daughter. They escape the prisoner (Raffaele brother) and give the leader of the court judge a big amount of money. They take it as a corruption. " my father cried and hug me.

"You just the only one daughter that I have. I can't lose you, "he said and hugged me. Why they want me?  "No dad you are not going to lose me," I said and wipe his tears.
