Do you expect me to believe that?

It was already three o'clock when Kaylee went to Christopher's study room. In her hand, a tray with a box of pizza, a pitcher with an orange juice, and two glasses. "Have some." Christopher looked at her as he smiled and nodded. Kaylee placed the tray beside Christopher's study table.

Christopher's study room is big, his study table was placed in the center where his personal computer was placed. There's a bookshelf behind it with different kinds of books; on the right, near the door, there's a couch; on the left side, a table with some documents was placed, and there were four chairs. He's using that table when he's working with Liam.

Kaylee poured juice into the glass, got a piece of pizza, and gave it to Christopher. He smiled and took it. "Thank you."

"Do you need help?" Kaylee asked, Christopher looked at her and then at his phone for a second. "Just a little, but I'm fine for now." Kaylee nodded. "Just let me know."

Kaylee sat on the couch and plugged her earphone into her phone. Since Christopher didn't need her help, for now, she decided to listen to music.

Kaylee was listening to music when she noticed Christopher seemed bothered by something. She removed her earphones and was about to ask why when Christopher stood up from his swivel chair.

Christopher doesn't know what's wrong, but he can't calm himself. What happened earlier kept on popping into his mind. That Aria is Kaylee's cousin. He heard what that woman said to Kaylee, He was worried. Even though he sent her away, he had to call Anna to remind her that if she ever messed up with Kaylee, he would let her higher up know about this. Though he, himself is the big boss.

Of course, he was just worried. If he remembered it right, back then, he saw the panic in Kaylee's face when her Aunt called. If that woman is somehow related to that, He knew It would make Kaylee uncomfortable. There's even a possibility that they will cross each other's paths once again, given that Aria is working at the Empire. That makes him think 'Whatever happens, I need to protect Kaylee.'

Kaylee blinked. She was now lying on the couch and Christopher was already on top of her. She didn't say a word or look away. She just looked at Christopher's eyes. She was nervous. The way Christopher looked at her, was like, he was afraid. Christopher leaned his chin into Kaylee's shoulder. Kaylee tensed up when she felt Christopher's breath. "I will protect you," Christopher said with a low voice.

He was afraid, afraid that someone was capable of hurting Kaylee without doing anything. "Are you okay?" Christopher smiled weakly. "That's my line." After saying those words, he pressed his lips against hers. Kaylee was shocked for a moment, but she let him kiss her, in the end, she found herself kissing him back.

The look she saw in Christopher's eyes just a while ago and his actions make it look like he was asking for it. As their kiss deepened, Kaylee gave herself in. His hand started to move around her body and Kaylee felt weird. As his hand reached her breast, his lips went down to her jawline and down to her neck as he slowly caressed her breast. She bit her lower lip as she ran her fingers into his hair. It was getting intense... when, suddenly, the door opened. "OMO!" A shocked and sweet voice rang in their ears. Kaylee froze, she couldn't even look at the door. Christopher paused and looked at the source of the voice.

Kaylee stared at the surprised Christopher as he licked his lips, she's still unable to move because Christopher was still on her top and still holding her breast, and she blushed. Christopher looked at Kaylee and then went back to the girl at the door. He stood up. "Charlotte, why are you here?"

Kaylee's eyes widened. 'Charlotte?' She stood up, faced the door, and bowed.

Charlotte raised her eyebrow. "I came to surprise you, but I am the one who got surprised."

'I was surprised too, okay? We were getting there, but you suddenly showed up! You ruin the mood.' Christopher thought to himself.

"Who is she, your girlfriend?" Christopher looked at Kaylee. "Obviously, she's my assistant."

"Do you expect me to believe that?"

'Damn!'

Oops! HAHAHA, I'm sorry about the kissing part. I have a hard time with that 'cause I don't know how to write it right. Hahaha, It's lame I know. I love you all haha.
