"You, you, you..."
My lips twitched when I saw this old man pointed his finger again at me, this time there was a mix of rage and hopelessness in his eyes.
Did he only know how to say 'you'? His other reactions couldn't win this one.
As soon as the surprise left their faces, I watched as their expression turned dark.
I raised my eyebrow. "Did someone turn crazy before?"
"Not just crazy, but died." The second old man snorted.
"How long did it take before this person went crazy or died?" I asked again.
"The longest was two hours after he commanded them." The sixth old man replied.
Two hours.
I counted with my hands. It had been more than 24-hours for me, but I didn't feel anything other than being irritated and frustrated. And it was because of a whole different reason.
"Jane, how many hours have passed since you last commanded them?" The fourth asked me.
"More than twenty four hours, I think." I replied calmly.
