Chapter Three

Okay so a little bit of advice for those who are thinking I am the luckiest person in the world for having a norse myth living with me. IT'S NOT ALL ITS CRACKED UP TO BE.

He is seriously like a small child. Always having to be told what he can and can't touch, what he can and can't do. It was seriously frustrating.

"What is this book?" He held up Magnus Chase and The Sword of The Summer Up.

"A fictional book."

"But the  summerbrander sword disappeared long ago, if this author knows where it is I must find him and collect what rightfully belongs to the Asgardians."

"This is not a real story it has been written for entertainment for young adults."

"Am I in it?"

"Yes you are, and you're quiet the villain."

"Why does this realm portray me as an evil mastermind?"

"So you're telling me you're not?" I asked him.

"NO I'M NOT!" he yelled.

"You're not evil or you're not, not evil?"

"I'M NOT EVIL!" He screamed.

"OKAY I BELIEVE YOU!" I yelled back.

He stared at me with shocked eyes I guess he didn't expect me to yell back at him. There was a rather awkward long silence.

Then when I couldn't hold it in no longer I burst out laughing. He stared confused and then joined in the laughing. We stood there laughing for ages.

"Wow humans are a strange species.''

"Well what did you expect we don't live as long as you guys do... how old are you exactly?" I quizzed.

"In midgardian years, about, 1,070."

"Holy mother, of the, ancient gods."

"How old are you?" He asked me.

"Seventeen.''

"Whoa you are quite young compared to me.'' He stated.

"Nah shit Sherlock.''

"Who?"

"Sherlock."

"Who's that?"

"A genius detective."

"Detective?''

I sighed, he was like a small child not knowing anything. Come too think of it he was like a toddler stuck in a grown man's body.

"Someone who uncovers hidden truths."

"Oh, okay."

I looked at the book that he'd just placed down.

"So your telling me, that your not stuck somewhere else with snake venom dripping on you?"

"No! How could I be in two places at once?"

"I don't know! Your a frigin myth yet here you are."

''Myth?''

Great another thing that must be explained in strange dumb person language that I don't speak.

"Something that doesn't exist, like a story."

"Okay."

"So you know any good stories?" I asked him.

"Only ones that my father used to tell me and my brother as children."

"Cool. Like what?"

"Like how my father's father defeated the dark elves."

"Oh, that sounds very um exciting."

"Is it not?"

"I wouldn't know I was always told stories of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty."

"And they are?"

"Fairy tales, stories that you tell children so they think that they will be princess' one day."

"My father is the King of Asgard."

"So technicality your a prince?"

"Yep basically."

"Coolio."

"What?"

I sighed, "Never mind."

I went into my kitchen, and got some chocolate, (for those who don't know me I love my chocolate touch it you die.) I broke off a piece and ate it.

"This is not what I expected midgard to look like."

I looked up to see him standing at my window observing the busy street below us. I walked and stood beside him. The street below us was backed-up with traffic, horn were blaring and pedestrians were walking everywhere.

"I don't think that anyone knows what something would look like if they haven't seen it for themselves." I spoke softly

" Yeah I guess that your right."

That's when I introduced him to sass.

"Well you know I'm always right."

"You are?"

"No not really. I was giving you sass.''

"Sass?"

"Ummmmm, snappy?"

"Oh okay."

I turned around and leaned up against the glass.

"What was Asgard like?" I asked him.

"Beautiful, colourful and rich in look."

"Sounds amazing."

"It was  amazing.''

And that was when the glass cracked.
