Lie Fan approached him and helped him stand up, and patted him on both of his shoulders then said that he would send a rescue team immediately, and to not worry that his family would be safe and sound.

Listening to Lie Fan's words, he thanked him and said that he would uphold his oath and that may heaven strike him down if he ever broke his oath to betray Lie Fan or to escape, which goes against his beliefs.

The words that have been just said by Wen Pin caused Zhao Yun to admire him even further, as he also holds beliefs and loyalty as his core values to keep him going, and now that there's someone who is the same as him, Zhao Yun feels that he is finally not alone.

The reason why Lie Fan assigned Wen Pin as the defender of Jiangxia, is because, in the original timeline, Wen Pin has proved again and again as the stalwart defender of Upper Jing Province for Cao Cao.

He managed to push back Sun Quan and Liu Bei's attempt to attack Cao Cao's domain in Jing Province, even though he lost Jiangling to Guan Yu but the process of the battle was fully on Wen Ping's side.

Assisted by Yue Jin they managed to drive off Guan Yu from Xunkou, destroy Guan Yu's supply train at Han Ford, and burn his fleet at Jingcheng.

However, the casualties on Cao Cao's forces were beyond affordable for them after nearly a year of intense fighting, so Cao Cao admitted defeat and ordered his Wen Pin and Yue Jin to forfeit Jiangling.

During his tenure as the defender of Jing Province, he only lost one battle, and the rest he managed to defend the Jing Province area under Cao Cao perfectly, where both Liu Bei and Sun Quan couldn't shake his position for many years until his death.

Lie Fan's words surprised some people present, including Huang Zu but after remembering that he doesn't have control over his army anymore, he decided to accept it because he knew Wen Pin's capability.

Gan Ning who was speaking was cut off by the sudden appearance of a guard who was reporting an emergency to them, that outside of Taipei there was a large group of Tono Tribesmen.

This report surprised everyone present, but Yang Hong and Yan Jun who had been prepared for it weren't as surprised as Gan Ning.

The three of them stood up and left the main hall, where then they headed toward the southern wall of Taipei, where Li Feng and Ling Cao were already there leading the defenses with their men.

In the first expedition, there were around 30,000 men but after the war against the Tono Tribe, there were around 27,000 men left with around 1,000 people dying and 2,000 people wounded and the wound caused them to can't fight anymore.

Gan Ning separated from Yang Hong and Yan Jun heading toward the port, to prepare his navy to support Li Feng and Ling Cao using his navy firepower.

Both Li Feng and Ling Cao were overlooking the field from the top of the wall, where there were around 10,000 to 15,000 Tono people using pitchforks, hoes, and makeshift swords.

Considering the number and equipment used by the Tono Tribesmen, they weren't a big threat to them and could be neutralized easily but it was different if they didn't know about the rebellion.

Without any preparation and even knowing there would be a rebellion, the Tono rebels could easily infiltrate their barracks under the guise of sending some food supplies or other things, and poison their water supply or food supply.

They could also assassinate many soldiers and take their equipment for their own use, such machinations will be hard to notice if they aren't informed by Ahuan and his friends.

When they thought about this, from the large group of Tono rebels a single person stepped forward and introduced himself as Aching, the Prince of the Tono Clan and he demanded them surrender as there were more of the Tono people coming.

He has called for the Tono Tribesmen who stand by his side who live outside of Taipei and who loathed the way of life that was taught by Yang Hong and Yan Jun, that it was a disgrace to their ancestors who taught them the way of hunt and survival in the jungle.

The fluent Aching surprised both Li Feng and Ling Cao, where the two suspected that he just have infiltrated and learned their language and culture before silently gathering his strength to rebel.

As for whether Aching was really the Prince of the Tono tribe or not wasn't a matter to them, what's they needed to do now was to defend Taipei and neutralize Aching and his men before their reinforcement arrived.

Before the two of them could respond to Aching, Yang Hong and Yan Jun arrived at the wall where they joined Li Feng and Ling Cao, and then the two of them were informed about what had just transpired by Ling Cao.

Hearing what Ling Cai had told the two of them, they were surprised because this Aching was a name they give to one of the lists smartest Tono people they teach, never expecting that he had bad intentions from the start, and using the knowledge he learned from them to amass large company of Tono Tribesmen to rebel, which was a wake up call for them to not underestimate the intelligent of the Tono People.
