First look

I finally had a form. And so as the feeling of nothingness fled, I was bombarded by more nothing ness. I could feel my form but it had no shape.

I decided to mold my body in to a wisp like figure. There were limits to my transformation. As I couldn't turn into a human, elf, demon, or monster. My body was composed of pure energy. And I could use that energy to simulate senses except better. Hearing could be from all around the body. Taste from anywhere. Touch with any part of my body. Feel with any part. And look from anywhere. That being said I had no nerves so I couldn't naturally feel pain. However my conciseness resides within my soul. Which dictated my form and my senses, as well as my power. I could move through a form of floating and hovering.

With my first look I only saw black. But then numerous bright lights far off into the distance. Then a round enormous object floating in a parabolic arch. I approached the object and as I got closer the bigger it became. And eventually green came into view. Even though I never learned anything my comprehension was off the charts. I knew I was in nature but not what it was called. What I did see was what were the remnants of a odd structure that could fit many, many people. Inside was writing. I couldn't read but I could use energy to extract whatever information from a huge radius.

What was put into my consciousness was strange symbols. But eventually they made sense. They were words. And as I hovered there more and more information came into my mind.

I thought it was the year of 83921 using the calendar system used by the world. The world I knew was gone and what replaced it was infinite smaller worlds. Humans now held their consciousness within an organ called the brain rather than in my case here it was in the soul. Every species had gone to their own planet. This planet was abandoned ruled by ancients. However I realized that the year was incorrect. It was an ancient calendar from when the species had run from the original planet and that they had nearly destroyed them selves. Greedily taking the essence of the world.

What followed after was the world loosing it's luster and. The essence it had left could no longer sustain the consumption so it birthed many smaller planets in it's last act of preserving the humans. With the same happening to the elves and demons but at a much slower rate. And so whole humans were quantities elves and demons were stronger. But they were not as numerable as the humans.

The countless stars could be seen by my eyes. They all surrounded the many stars in the sky as the world I was on had no luster yet no pollution. Clear as glass.
