this novel managed to use mathematics, physics, chemistry and other things that many consider boring, and made an interesting novel. but I have some observations: racism, nationalism and some other things that take away some of the appeal of this novel, the truth is that most of these novels in China, they always put China on a pedestal and make it look like the best country, which has always is doing the best for the world. anyone capable of reasoning knows that these news are nothing more than a means of brainwashing.

I like the story and the movement of the plot line. He got the system - Yes Completing missions -Yes Slow development - yes (probably because of chapter length is small) World development - No (hardly say anything about the place he live in. is it still earth or other?) character - under developed My only con of this story is MC character. He was doing odd jobs in university to do the living, suddenly ine day he got the system and become studious I can accept that but this also changes his character as a whole he become completely emotionless unless author want to create some comedic moment, he looks down on his friends for playing games and stuff like normal college students do (which he also do before system). one instance in recent chapter (as of ch. 122) he looks down on a Indian guy in princeton (whose friendly to mc) for doing some calculation error laughs on him saying wasting his funding coming all the way to princeton. In some sense without system MC would be passing down flyers in streets while that Indian guy even with calculation error is genuinely genius doing his presentation in princeton using reverse mathematics which no one uses even author agreed upon. All in all I want is MC should have some sense in the way he treats the people around and not act as guy whot billions in lottery and become a complete douchebag. And for Author please do not make stereotypes of all westerners you know. By reading this novel I know you are patriotic and thats good for you but MC is not you and you didn't set any consistent worldback ground to MC have a biased view other than using same same on earth. My overall impression : 2.8/5. This doesn't mean I don't recommend reading it but take it with a grain of salt.

Even with just a few chapters out, it's easy to tell a good novel from a bad one. The character development is pretty good and well paced (considering this is a "system" novel). Side characters have distinct personalities so it's easy to tell them apart. The plot developments aren't too cliche (like having constant faceslapping), but it's engaging enough to keep you interested. So far so good!

the author seems to have persecution complex towards other nationalities and is overly racist. the Nationalist themes sprawling all over and writing chapters specifically just to insult certain nationalities is frankly off putting.

This book is about a undergrad student who receives a system which enables him to garner and use knowledge to a high degree. If you think this is a other trash novel where the MC gets confronted at every turn by rich arrogant snobs or picks up girls at every turn while being more than a martial artist than a scholar, then you're sorely mistake. In this novel, the MC is student through and through - due to being absolutely poor, he has to work which drives him to use this student to study, lowering his expenses on school fees and in Hope's to monetize the knowledge that the system gives him. But the reason that I really like this novel is due to the somewhat realistic insight into the scientific community and how the problems portrayed in this novel are actually real life problems - you actually might learn something when you're reading this novel. Overall the story is pretty well written, with an overall good pacing, for a Chinese novel. Yes, there are some filler, but this is mainly due to fleshing out details regarding the world around him and his circumstances. Characters are pretty 2d - you have no idea what they look like, no quirky personality traits that differentiate them - just a name. This is pretty common in many Chinese novels - luckily major traits like glasses, or ponytail are mentioned once in a while, but it's pretty forgettable. So far, not much is mentioned regarding the world, just that's its today modern world. I'd like some more info about the place he lives and what the campus looks like and so on. I highly recommend this novel to any reader who would like a break from the standard "modern day martial artist that goes around establishing billion dollar companies in a week, while beating young masters senseless and picking up their dates." This is good alternative to those who would like some scientific substance (so far mainly in math), and a unique look into how thesis writing works and what a graduate student life is like.

*I am chapter 508 at the time of writing this review. Good Story. Lots of pointless maths. Confusing sometimes. Please read this story assuming that it is based in another world, as it has many changes. Most of them are present to make China look better. Now in deep. The translating quality and update is quite good. No problems here. Pointless Maths: The maths present there might be good to make the story feel original and give it more impact. But honestly, most of the readers don't have such deep background in Mathematics field. I myself am from Commerce side and 99% things make no sense. I asked one of my friends who is currently in his bachelors final. He understood few things but even to him, most of it was gibberish. This makes you skip large portion of a chapter. Funny thing about the maths and all the science here is...its not all completely true. I didn't check everything, but did google few fields and theorems. It's not exactly correct. ( I might be wrong as I am a complete noob in this field. But crosschecking did show it was not as he states.) Next is the World. You should read the story assuming that it's an alertnate world. Many major positions have been given to Chinese. Few things have been made to sound better. Like their contribution in some fields. Personally I don't have problems with it but don't believe everything at face value. And for people trying to avoid racism in story. Until now I haven't seen any intentional racist remark except for some jokes. Yes, there is slight racism present but it's almost negligible compare to most other novels. One great thing about this novel is the system. The system doesn't handfeeds the MC, neither he can buy skill books or upgrade skills like in IRAS. He has to study everything on his own. The system just provides the incentive. It makes him figure most of the things on its own. It's quite a relief as the system is an aid and not a crutch. In fact MC himself believes that the system might be from a higher civilization or future, as it has all research in its database. Plus the way the system asks him to research on his own and draw its own conclusion, MC even assumes this to be some sort of graduation test. Until now their is no super tech or something like monster factory. Although the MC is genius its in the range of understanding. He doesn't pumps out next generation technology every few months. So don't expect timemachines, spacships and such things anytime soon. As of now his focus is on fusion reactors. One major drawback is his interaction with the family. It's dull and extremely borin, making you want to skip those parts. Following it are the interactions with departments, government, and other academicians. It's extremely dull. That's it for now. I might change it later as the story progresses. Cya.

I have been following this story for a while now and every chapter does not disappoint. The main character feels relatable, with his moments of naivety even when he is considered a genius. The drive he has to expiriment and the characters that support him all feel alive, makes you want to keep reading to find out what new experiment or project will come next.

So fresh! Addictive. Best novel I've read so far. I've never wanted so badly to go privileged. The main character is consistent with himself and we want to see him evolve

I'll be honest. Some parts I skipped over cuz things like carbon nanotubes and such go over my head. I wish the equations were actually presented the way you would see in real life, not ^2 for something squared, cuz it makes the equations too complicated to understand. To the author: please make the MC less stupid. He does some ridiculous things like thinking the system gave him missions, especially recurring ones, because they're necessary and yet it does not occur to him that physical activity is also needed?! But at the same time, the content of the story and the stupidity despite the genius status makes it funny. Also anybody binging, please stop to read paragraph comments with lots of comments and chapter comments. They're some of the best parts in this novel.

Looking forward to it. Amazing story. Creative writing. Keep up the good work. Can I post a review in another language other than English? 😀 love it 😍

I would rate this as a story who takes out a lot of the elements which were over the moon from "I have a mension in the post apocalyptic world". The story development is sometimes uninteresting. We want to see the MC struggle more in the "real" world of politics and economy. This is missing a lot and was addressed more in the "I have a mension in the..." Overall the story is a good read. The system is logic. The MC is unique and timejumps to progress the story are logically build.

This novel is slowly becoming sh!t due to slow release. Withholding plenty of chapters and putting a pay wall just to unlock advanced chapters. I'll rather read MTL chapters than waiting for this piece of sh!t app.

This is a good novel! Just sometimes the mathematical or scientific problems are just too complicated to me or unrecognizable. The mc’s pride, the way he talked to others, his EQ, bruh moments... BUT this novel is very entertaining and too good!

This story applies the "MC gets RPG-style quests" plot with a twist: instead of fighting, it is about learning and research. MC has at the moment no unlikable tendencies, but sees the "gifts" of the so called "System" as his own achievements. Be warned that the author writes a bunch of (sometimes completely wrong) nonsense about the topics he covers, especially regarding computer science. So it may be the best for you to ignore anything the author writes about the fields.

the novel is pretty decent. The main problem so far is the mc say nutty to much including other characters. I am just reading this novel because I'm board.
