4 ToysR- a lot of work

Nick wiped the sweat out of his eyes, "Almost there System!"

Simple Wooden Horse- 99% Done

'I am never doing this again!' Nick shouted in his head. For the last hour or so he had been hammering and chiseling the wood and nails he found in his desk. His hands lead by the blueprint and skill he just need to hammer in the last piece.

"What is taking you so long? My gosh, I've seen my grandma make a toy faster than you." The ever-encouraging system pushed him to hurry up. 'You're a disembodied voice, how could you have a grandma?'

"Shut up and get to work." He seems to have a touched a sore spot. 'With a system like this, who needs enemies. Never mind her. Let's finish this. Yippee ki yay ya wooden animal!' Nick smashed his wooden hammer into the last nail.

Nick got several notifications at once. 'Here come the life changing rewards...'

Nick looked at his notifications and smiled, determination to work in his eyes. 'This is the beginning of my road to power. Plus saving this world I guess.'

"Spare me the dramatics and get back to work! I want you done with at least five more toys before you leave today." The bossy system pushed Nick out of his head. 'Yeah, yeah one second. Let me glance at my stats.'

Nick grabbed his wood and went at it, smashing down his hammer with reinvigorated energy. "I guess we need to talk about your pay, huh?" Nick froze. 'Yes!'

He hadn't forgotten what the pay was, and he wanted his minimum of $10 dollars per hour! 'How will I get it? Check or cash? Also have i worked hard enough to get more than 10?' Nick may have been a little greedy, there was a video game he wanted to have.

"Get back to work you greedy idiot!" Nick immdedialty started working again, his face going red with anger. His next thoughts were not very nice. "I can still hear you! No, you are not getting anymore than $10! With that attitude, I'd fire you if I knew how!"

Nick sighed, 'Sorry, but if you are going to insult me, dont expect me to not fight back you useless system! How can I be Santa if I dont even have any elves to do all the work for me!?'

"Check your system." If the disembodied voice had a body, its eyes would be slits. Nick shivered, that tone sounded just like his mother's, cold and dead. He quickly took a look.

"Look, eventually you will be able to be a lazy bum. After you save Polaris. Also the business card didnt lie, cash will be inserted into your inventory when you leave everyday."

As the voice informed him, Nick was still in shock from the new option. 'The system could update itself and with no downtime at all?!' This was a shock to Nick, it shook the very foundations of every system novel he had read.

"It wasnt really an update, the option already existed in the shop." The system's voice had an air of pride to it. "Now get back to work, you aren't being paid for nothing." Nick groaned, the system was bossing him around now?

"How does making toys help-" He was immediately interrupted. "Back to work!" Nick sighed and picked up his hammer. Then he instantly realized he forgot how to make the wooden horse. He picked up the blueprint and started to scan it again.

"How long do I have left?"

So it doesn't just shove all that stuff in my face every time! Sweet. "Do we have any music?" Christmas music started to play without a word. "Nevermind, I'm good." It didnt turn off.

"This is gonna be a long three hours."
