Chapter 16-The Crook Beat Down
The person in front of us was terrified. He had run into monsters these things in front of him after all just couldn't be a human and his Pokemon. Instantly turning around to run away he completely forgot about his Rattata.
Seeing this my anger increased until I felt that the scum in front of me deserved to suffer. He deserved to rot away in prison never seeing the light of day again. Looking at my Pokedex I was glad to see I had pressed the record function on it showing all that was happening. After all who wanted to accidentally go to prison while helping the Police.
In the Distance as the thought went through my head I heard a siren. I needed to finish this up quickly I decided. With that thought Emblaze blasted off in perfect sync. That's when I felt a need to use one of the Z-Moves I had learned, but how's that possible. I knew I needed the Crystal to do that unless.... Just maybe Synchronization does that for you acting as a Z crystal would.
Maybe that's also why Ash's Greninja was able to use that super sized Shuriken move. It was most likely a Greninja Z move that was previously undiscovered before then in the series. Maybe I should find it for them I mused a bit before turning back to the battle fully.
"Emblaze Get Him," I screamed in anger. 'Scratch,' we both thought at the same time. And so a cloud of dust shot into the air around the man as he was flung into a tree passing out. Looking at the Rattata I noticed a hint of fear towards all the current parties present. holding my hand down I went into my store and bought a Malasada using the rest of the 6 points that I had earned today. Sometimes a life and happiness was more important than the points.
Looking at me warily I softly called out to the lost Pokemon "Come here Rattata and i'll give you this Malasada." "I don't trust you... you.... stupid human," the mouse said. In that voice however I could feel who this Pokemon was. He had the voice of a Young boy that was at most 5 or 6 years old. Most likely this mouse was even younger than my few week old Charmander and that came as a large surprise. Somebody would cast this guy into such a position I couldn't help but to think.
"You might not trust me, but we mean you no harm whatever you chose to believe," I said trying to alleviate the Pokemon of it's fear. However instead of any words the mouse opened it's eyes and mouth, and couldn't help but mumble one thing repetitively "He Can Here Me."
"Yes I can," I confirmed to the poor creature "So do you want your Malasada." Getting courage from the fact that the Charmander behind the human looked alright physically as well his hunger that took over his body's thought process he slowly came closer to me. When he had reached a couple of feet in front of me he dashed, and grabbed the Donut like thing and backed up starting to eat. Smiling I watched as a officer Jenny pulled up ready to arrest the obviously OK one.
Getting out my Pokedex quickly originally alarming the woman until she noticed what it was she let me get it out fully and looked at what's on it. It was a recording of what had happened. From a moment after I noticed something was wrong I started to record what was happening all the way till I beat the guy up.
After the woman finished watching it she nodded with a smile. Thank you Lazaro for the help we'll get this Scum straight into jail then he'll be going to court. Smiling at first I noticed the women heading towards the Pokemon trying to get it.
"Wait Jenny what if I take this one," I asked in a pleading voice. I needed the Pokemon for my Pokedex sure, but more so I felt a connection with this one like the time with my Charmander. I wanted to form a team with this Pokemon in front of me.
Looking over at the Rattata I noticed it shiver in fear. I knew first however that we needed to learn more about each other, and slowly build up some trust or we would be going no wheres. Looking at the Pokemon I asked softly "Would you give me a chance to prove myself to you." Thinking back on it's short life it gave a slow nod that showed just how afraid it truly was, but at least it would give me a try. Smiling I nodded to Jenny signaling that we were going now.
Seeing what I was doing for the Rat she couldn't help but smile. "OK Lazaro just thank you for bringing in this delinquent. See you hopefully not again after all who wants to be with the police. I don't want to see you stuck in a crime or something." Smiling at the joke I signaled for Emblaze to come, and waited for Rattata to follow us at a distance. I couldn't force it, it's unrealistic to instantly be friendly after all.
