Dropped this novel because my heart ached. SPOILER Basically, male leads are trash. I haven't fully read chapters after 400+ but I wish there's a third MALE LEAD who isn't a trash π. Actually, 2nd ML is okay but FL is also to blame for his attitude. SPOILER As what it said in syno**is, 1st ML divorces FL because she can't get pregnant and even brought home another woman who actually "bore" him a child. So they got divorced. Let's talk about first the woman the 1st ML brought home. The woman enjoyed spending 1st ML's money. She gave birth with a son and asked for a grand wedding as a gift for giving birth. She spends his money and partied nonstop and left the child with the stupid (i hate her) mother-in-law. She even sends money on the guy named Chen. Soon, the 1st ML found out that the child is not his. And the accident where he was almost got hit by a car was orchestrated by the woman and the Chen guy. He divorced him and gave him 100m (she even asked for 680m like what he gave to FL). The woman faced retribution ruthlessly. The 1st ML caused her to have AIDS and denied visa to Australia. Now, the FL moved to an apartment and there he met the 2nd ML who's her neighbor. She gave birth to a son from 1st ML but he didnt know. The 2nd ML dotes on her so much and even promised to take care of her son. They got married 4months after she gave birth. And they had a daughter. They are fine UNTIL... The 1st ML and the mother-in-law found out about the son. Since the son from his other woman is not his, he fought for custody for his real son. He even asked FL to come back to him. But 2nd ML didnt let it happen. Upon the fighting in the custody, 1st ML pulled some strings and even threatened the business and reputation of the family of the 2nd ML and his inheritance was almost lost so he and his family just let the 1st ML win the case. 2nd ML knew what happened but he hid it from FL. In the end, FL lost the custody. The FL went nuts and kidnapped her child so he wont be taken away. But it is a futile attempt. The court just allowed her to visit the son. She always visit her son to the point that she started to neglect her husband and daughter and that is where the story intensified. She visits the son without the permission from the 2nd ML. There's also a pictures that was sent to 2nd ML, a pic of 1st ML, FL and the son. (FL is in the wrong here ofcourse). He started to get insecure and in turn did not allow FL to visit her son. But 2nd ML broke his promise as well. He didnt help her win the custody because they cared more about their reputation. Plus, 2nd ML went on a vacay with daughter without her. And a lot more broken promises. And what I hate about him is in his insecurities, when he talked about the wife's responsibility to the husband. There, he raped her. And they got divorced. That's where I am. I havent finished it. I hope FL will have her own happy ending.

I have to be honest. I haven't read the story. I'm just using the intro I got from the info tab. Why are mother in laws usually so heartless. I know not every mother in law is, but... My God... Why? I sense another heartbreak from this novel. From the intro it sounds like a good read. I hope that's true

I still didn't start reading this book yet.. i votedcit bcos yeah,no other choices,just for the sake of the ssπ€£.. I just hope this book is not the same as the rest of translation novel we have recently.. I hope the FL will gv a great big slap to the ex husband and ex in law..maybe i will considering to read the story... It's really disappointed to read about the bad bastard heartless ex...and after sometimes,he realized that he made a mistake and regretted..then in the end happily ever after..tsk,tsk,tsk..
Why is it almost the stories here are ML not loving the FL?!? The summary is not consistent to the chapters started. I hope the author will have a story that is different to other stories here, like Male Lead needs to do bad things to the Female Lead so that it will create misunderstanding, conflict, hurting, that will lead for the Female Lead to leave him and after a few years, she will be back to have her revenge and in the end, they will be together again!!! #SameStoryPlot #NoMore
Ok. I'm sorry I previously said it's on going. Because on 69shu, where I read it b4 it showed only till 1230 some chapter. But as someone helped me with raws . I looked through. And this has already been completed. Its not too long only some 1600 chapters unlike Rich young heiress etc. The pace of story is fast yet characters feelings and development is quite clear. You won't get bored. Neither is this story too slow nor rushed Not too many White lotus bit**es to counter or conspiracies. Few involve mainly two - one ex husband mistress second , 2nd husband's ex gf. So it's not too tiring either. Fl is not a airhead or dumbhead neither is she 'know it all' kind of Main lead. Ml - ok. So there are 2 main men here in story as mentioned in synopsis. Who fight for Fls affection. One Is the cheating ex husband Mo Yixan (MY) who cheats on her and droves her out of his house also she's treated very badly in his house prior to their divorce , the betrayal was the last straw that broke the Camel's back. MY is rich handsome guy. A good business man. But he fails in his marriage only to realise and regret after its too late. There are instances were you'll feel bad in future , when he's old and alone , but again he didn't treat her well when she was the only one putting in efforts and also cheated. He's not a bad person , but probably paid a huge price for taking Fl's love and care for granted Second guy is Ye Hao (YH), he's what you could call Ml He's introduced now in story. He helps FL in her initial bad phase after break up. They fall in love. Have child And rest is history. I wont say much here to spoil more. But Fl is happy and healthy in the end. Her children are also well settled and happy in what they are doing with cute grandkids. Both MY Nd YH get what was destined for them Its a good read. Just because it involves cheating which is quite sensitive, don't presume that Fl life would be quite sorrowful. Nope. Mistakes made in youth would be repented in the thirties and she will have a blissful marriage thereon.
I think the story tells how should value and respect the women and treat her with respect. Once you didnt value the treasure in your hand. No matter how hard you try it. There will be nothing good will return. So dont treat women as whatever you want. I honestly do not know if the Mo guy is the ML or not. Lol. But I wish it wasn't him, maybe because we all want a perfect marriage with no heartbreaks for our MC. Anyway even though the Mo guy is a cheating bastard, he has a good attitude and would express guilt. Which is nice, since most of the ex's of mc's are with no brains and no emotions ( like "I'm just gonna cheat on you and make your life damn miserable without reason.) kind of ex lol. That's why I like the character design on her cheating husband. Lol but I hope he isn't the ML. ππ Reading this is like the characters are their own people. It's just my opinion lol.

To be honest I added this to my library just for the sake of meeting the 30min reading timeπ then removed it from my libarary. Sorry not sorryβΊ I tried the raw version but Unfortunately, this is not my cup of tea. The all too COMMON MISUNDERSTANDING that is present in most C-Novel of this genre. Lack of communication,trust etc. This story just stresses me out. SP: she marries another man then divorced him. KUDOS TO YOU TRANSLATOR-SAN!!!π
