Jayne handed over the papers. Ronnie went wide-eyed on seeing her signature.
*Cough! Cough! Cough!*
He immediately began coughing to distract her.
"Honey, are you alright?" Jayne became tensed.
"Could you get me a glass of water baby?" Ronnie asked in between coughs.
"Honey, you please sit here. I'll be back." She asked Ronnie to sit on the chair and rushed downstairs to the kitchen.
Ronnie heaved a sigh of relief as Jayne left. He didn't know whether he'd to laugh or cry at her signature. He immediately hid the papers in his bag and sat down deep in contemplation, 'What if Maya's memories return? How will I handle this?' Ronnie's face fell.
Jayne returned with the water to see Ronnie sitting silently. She gave him the water glass, "Honey, are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm baby!" He drank the water and made her sit on his thigh and hugged her.
"Jayne?" Ronnie murmured while burying his head at the crook of her neck.
"Yes baby?" She kissed his head.
"Baby, what if in the future you get back your past memories? Will you still accept me and not hate me for loving or marrying you?" Ronnie asked.
"My dear hubby, I've told you a million times. Irrespective of how good or bad my previous life was, it's only because of you I' be got my rebirth, I'm alive and breathing here. I owe you my everything." Jayne paused and made Ronnie to look at her.
"Even if I do get back my memories, the fact that we love each other, that we married each other with mutual consent won't change. And, now that we've even signed our marriage papers, I don't care about anything of my past life. I don't think my past was in anyway better than my present life which is beyond perfection filled with only love." Jayne paused.
"If it really was better, then somebody must have made some effort to at least search for my presence. Probably my life didn't matter to anyone. I have a strong intuition that destiny sent you to my life as a blessing. Though I've lost my previous memories, only your love has reached my soul and rekindled happiness from within me. The relationship I share with you, be it physically or emotionally is something that I've never felt in my entire honey!" Jayne kissed Ronnie passionately.
"As for hating you? Hubby, I can never do that. I've said it already! I'll never regret all the decisions I've taken after you came into my life. I love you Ronnie!" She hugged and kissed him lovingly like her very survival depended on him.
Just then the doorbell rang.
Ronnie whispered, "It must be the butler. He's got our dinner. Let's go honey."
The couple then went downstairs and had dinner. Jayne told him about her day and how she's now doing a solo performance along with a duet dance.
On hearing the word 'duet,' Ronnie's face turned darker than the bottom of a saucepan. He immediately disagreed. "No way Jayne! If you want I'll talk to your principal personally. You're only doing a solo performance and not a duet. End of this discussion."
"But honey, how can I offend my teacher like this?" Jayne frowned.
"I don't care! How would I let my wife dance with another man? That too when I'm there!" Ronnie immediately stopped himself from speaking further because even he was one among the Chief guests. He'd decided to keep it under wraps and surprise Jayne on that day.
Seeing Ronnie's jealous side which was obvious, Jayne tried hard to hold back her laughter.
Ronnie diverted his line of speaking, "Plus, you are no ordinary girl Jayne. You've a status in this society. You are the wife of Ronnie Roy. You've to maintain this image of yours, since it'll directly have an effect over my work." Ronnie tried to explain to Jayne.
"Understood honey! I would never want to do anything that will hamper your image. I'll only do the solo performance." Jayne willingly told Ronnie.
"Jayne, I'll never ever restrict you for anything. Your happiness is the sole aim of my life right now. So don't think I'm unnecessarily restricting you baby." Ronnie comforted Jayne.
"Baby, it's fine. I'm happy with the solo performance. What more can I ask for?" jayne told Ronnie.

Adam Clive was drinking alone at a pub. He'd beautiful girls dancing seductively around him. Usually he would get lost with those girls.
But today, his mind had just one image fixed, which was of Jayne dancing, her smile, her honeyed voice, her child-like laughter, her long hair swaying along her body, her delicate nose ring, ' I just can't wait to hold her in my arms, touch her, feel her, closely look at her while she dances with me!" he was desperately waiting for tomorrow.
