Same story, Slightly different wording. Rebirth has 2k+ chapters if you wanna read ahead. It’s a good story. It follows the usual transmigration plot in the beginning, but after a couple chapters, the plot takes a different path. There’s a lot of detail, but not too much to the point where you get bored of it, just enough to provide the information needed. Written by the same author that wrote GDBBM, Peerless Refiner and Rebirth of the Strongest Female Emperor. Can expect some good work.

(This is written based on up to where I last read, which was around 1200 out of the 2700 chapters.) Hm. How to describe this book? I guess you can say it’s one of the sort of better written stories that uses all the common tropes in these kinds of novels. Reincarnation. Check Revenge. Check. Cold main girl. Check. OP male lead. Check. This may be an unpopular opinion, but out of the two, I personally like this novel more than Genius Doctor: Black Belly Miss, which is written by the same author. It’s mainly because, among other things, unlike Jun Wu Xie, the female lead here isn’t just cold, but also mischievous and kind of playful too, much preferable than an ice statue who is described as cold in practically every sentence her name is mentioned. They both are likable in their own ways, but I just preferred reading about Shen Yanxiao more. The female lead’s guy best friends are so cute. There is absolutely no romance going on, just great bromance. If you’ve read It’s Not Easy To Be A Man, you can expect it to be like Ling Lan with her own companions/brothers/sons. Don’t set your expectations super high though. INETBAM is up there in the rankings for a reason. The author of this novel, North Night, doesn’t flesh out each of the guy companions out as much as Madam Ru did with hers. If you’re looking for something different in this story that you might not find in other Chinese novels, it’s that the male lead isn’t obvious right away. For the longest time, it isn’t really apparent who the male lead is. Once you find out, you might or might not be disappointed but will come to like him if you already didn’t. So do I recommend this story? Yes to those who like all the usual common stuff but looking for something a bit more than average. No to those expecting something new, special, or different, which is what Web Novel really needs at this point. Great story, Just a shame that they are taking an already over 2k translated story and realeasing it from scratch here. Probably free chapters for about 80-100 then want payment for rest. Don't waste your spirit stones on a story that is free elsewhere. It would be different if they fully released all the already released chapters then started translating new chapters.

I really LOVE this novel.... I'm into slow romance [Spoiler🚨 if at around chapter 1000 and MC just still finds ML to be so handsome she'd be a poet and start praising him isn't slow enough for you... WELL] and city/kingdom-building.. She builds up her power and her city but she's not really perfect and sometimes something goes wrong. I also love that [Spoiler🚨 she has true friends. Male friends at that. Let's face it, I'm a girl and even I don't like girl friends much, they're too... fussy?? (I think just a few are enough for me) Anyway, it's great to read that they're not after her and just truly looks out for her. AND NO GIRLS ARE AFTER ML bc duh, his soul is inside MC. How can they ever go after him.] The chapters are short more like cut up into parts by author but oh well it doesn't rly matter, and there would be cliffhangers and the build-up is just slow but when you get to the main part BAM, YOU FEEL IT PUMPING THE BLOOD OUT OF YOU and I think it's a nice pacing. The translator also releases 2-3 chapters daily so you could read it immediately or stack it up a few days so you don't experience the cliffhanger too much or else you'd be like me, braving the raws with MTL with force LOL She's a smart girl so, SCHEMING AT IT'S FINEST if I would say so. But she also realizes that she's s*upid from time to time. It's funny, it's like a one-man show for her. Well, they're all funny except for master ML. My favorites here are the 5 animals tho and their whole interaction with MC as friends in their group. And also how her people worship and cherish her and try to repay her, only to be given more things by MC. Well basically all the bonds she'd forged with the others. I'm still enjoying MTLing the raws at 1145+.... I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS NOVEL TOO

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My only concern was that while it's pretty much a stand-alone book, it's also kind of a prequel to Genius Doctor-Black Belly Miss. The events from this book take place before GDBBM.

One of the best novvel I ever read. Common topic of rebirth and reincarnation but the female lead is one of the best and coolest MC I encountered. This story has so much twist and turns that you will never expect. Keep voting, rating and sharing this story. It will never fail to amaze you.
