Finding The Truth...

Anna tugs him back to the bed after giving him medicine and covers him with two blankets to be on safer side.

"What's your hotel room number? And are the keys in your clothes?" Anna questions him while grabbing her car keys.

"It's 201 and yeah those are on the table along with my wallet" Xian speaks while clearing his throat.

"Cool, let me pick some clothes for you and then you can return once you are back" Anna replied while taking the keys.

"No... I mean I am not well and what if I catch flu in mid night. As you are staying alone here, it will be so kind of you to allow to me stay here for few days. Can you please check out for me and I will go back once I am fine" Xian requests in low voice and making puppy face.

"That's not possible Xian" Anna screams out in shock after hearing Xian's request.

"Please Anna, I am no harm to you. I will take another room or sofa in hall" Xian requests again.

"FINE...But only till you are unwell" Anna walks out after grabbing her purse and slams the door leaving echo in the room.

"Thank you Anna for accepting my request, I will make sure to stay here with you till I am here" Xian speaks to himself while smiling. He tries to sleep but suddenly sits back after remembering Anna's last night word. He promised himself to check on the same so after hearing car start sound he picks up his phone and dials a number.

*Busy Tone*

"Ahhh...what's keeping him so busy" Xian tries to redial the same number but gets the call from the same caller.

"Boss Good Morning, I was calling you to inform something" Ciao speaks up in tense voice.

"What's the matter? Anything urgent. Before that listen to me, I want you to investigate something for me" Xian replies back in irritating tone.

"Boss its urgent. Something related with Ms. Anna and your Grandpa"

"Shot!" Xian orders him to narrate the complete story as finds it related to his doubt.

"I am not sure about the complete content and trying to fetch the same from your recorder which we have installed in your cabin. But got informed that Grandpa had a meeting with Ms. Anna after we left for New York and it seems Ms. Anna was not in a good mood from then and thus finished her work a week earlier" Ciao tries to finish the complete narration in one breath.

"Hmmm....I want all the details of what they spoke Ciao. Take this on priority and make sure that old man is not aware of the recorder in my office, although it's for my security but never knew that will help me to fix the broken pieces" Xian replies back while rubbing his forehead.

"Sure Boss, give me sometime and will get back to you with all the details. Anything else Boss"

"No that's it" Xian hangs up the phone and leans back on the bed.

"If I am not wrong this is the reason you are avoiding me. Am I right Anna" He speaks to himself.
