A young gamer named Alex has just discovered the Prototype game series. But just after finishing the final boss fight power goes out and a earthquake destroys the apartment complex he is in! He comes to in a unfamiliar room filled with members of his apartment before quickly losing consciousness again. Being the gamer that he is, he chooses to go to the Warhammer 40,000 universe and obtain the Mercer Virus from Prototype. Let's see how the Mercer virus takes over the wide universe! All rights go to the owners of: Prototype series (activision), Warhammer 40,000 series (whoever owns this series) This is just for fun, and i will try to upload at least 3 chapters every week. Suggestions are appreciated, but not all will be put into consideration (if you make bad suggestions, they will be ignored basically)
I love Role-Playing Games. Being the hero of Skyrim, or a great Jedi master that also uses Sith powers is often very enjoyable. And, I can't believe I missed Prototype. My friend introduced it to me, Alex, and I freaking love it. I spent the last 15 hours playing through this whole game 100% it and finally reached the last boss, the Supreme Hunter. This boss, is really hard. He keeps on healing and nuking my hp down. I've only barely managed to survive using the whipfist (Look it up, I ain't gonna try to explain that for now) to slowly chip at his hp.
. . . . ~~~One hour Later~~~. . . .
"Phew! Finally done with that irritating boss. Now onto the long awaited final cutscene..." The lights flicker on and off. "No.. no no no... Not at the last minute I didn't save. I DIDNT SAVE!!!" The lights fully die out, turning the room to a dim lit twilight, sparsely colored by light from the street below. "POWER HOW COULD YOU LEAVE MEEEEE~~!!!" Alex yelled in anguish as tears started building up in his eyes. "15 hours gone, damn you electric compan-" Unfortunately, Alex's mourning is cut short due to the apartment falling into the ground crushing all inhabitants.
Alex wakes up floating in what appears to be a white void, looking at what seems to be the sky. Alex stands up and notices there are others still asleep nearby. They seem to all be from the apartment complex. 'Did we all die? They seem to be stirring... should I help them?' Alex shakes his head, 'they should be fine if we are dead, which I am assuming.'
'Oh! Someone woke up. Let's see... that's Auntie Lisa right?' "Auntie Lisa?!" She notices the voice, and looks his way, "Alex dear? Do you know where we are?" Alex shakes his head. "No, but-" she interrupts him " Dear, why are you see-through?" Alex is momentarily shocked, "I'm sorry what? Wait... You are see-through too!" Horrified, she looks at her hand, "OH NO!! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BEAUTIFUL SKIN?!" Her loud shout seemed to have stirred everyone in the surrounding area.
Everyone starts shouting in a panicked way. "Guys, lets try to calm down and figure out what is going on.." Alex suggests, it is unfortunately drowned out by the incessant shouting. Suddenly, Stephen, the apartment manager, falls to the ground. Then Suzy, Lisa's child, follows him. The crowd starts going into a deep and sudden slumber. Alex is the last to drop.
Just as Alex falls asleep, a man garbed in white appears out of thin air. "Now now, let's get you all to the cycle..."
