The Bastard's Ascension

Power dictates what you can take and what you can't. Without kingdoms fall and anarchy ensues. One soul taste what strength is in a ever changing world. His identity is bound to his life but his strength isn't. A pact to bind it to book and only his true friends. Even if death is required all pieces bound by the pact will follow. A taste of blood allows for the desire of wanting more to start budding. To drown in it is a honor that one can't stray from. Race? Lose it. Wealth? A means to an ends. All one can count on is the taste of blood, strength, and a pact. The ascension of a bastard to all races who dictates his own path even if he has die for it. Be it dedication or false hope he must rise otherwise unless he wants to stay in the cycle for eternity. *Disclaimer* This will be my first novel as it will be an attempt and just to see how well I can do at one.
