Chapter 1The Life of Old

On a remote cliff next to the ocean there was a small villa made out of wood, it was a very simple villa. The place would be very peaceful if not for what was going on inside.

"Ahhhh!!! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" A young man yelled at the person in front of him. The young man looked around 22 and was very handsome, he would stand out anywhere, but the face he is making would ruin that, his face right now was filled with indignation, rage and sorrow.

"Hehe... not in this lifetime." The middle aged man in front of the young man gently laughed as he wiped the blood off his blade. "Now give me that dagger." The middle aged man narrowed his eyes and ordered as he looked at the thing in the young man's hand. The thing in the young man's hand was a dagger, it looked very special, there was a feint white glow around with some white sparks coming out every few seconds.

"Humph! This!?" He said as he looked at the dagger with hatred, this was the thing that caused all of this, all the pain, all the helplessness, it was because of this dagger! The gripped the dagger tightly, turned around facing the ocean and threw it with all his might.

"Wshhh!"

The dagger flew with mighty speed towards the ocean in a flurry of white sparks.

The middle aged man reacted quickly and tried to catch it but he was too late. The man ran towards the cliff to see where the dagger went and couldn't find anything. His eyes grew enraged.

"Damn it! Damn it!! Damn it!!! If I can't have it don't think that you have a reason to be alive any longer!" The middle aged man said in an enraged voice. He walked towards the young man and slashed him with his blade, the young man did not resist at all as he had no reason to live anymore.

"Pushhh!" A ray of blood spurted from the young mans chest, he also coughed up a mouth full of blood.

"Cough! Cough!! Hehe... looks like I will be joining you... my love." The young man coughed up some more blood and said with a gentle smile. As soon as he finished saying that he fell down with lifeless eyes.

The middle aged man looked at the young man beneath him with indignation and a tinge bit of respect, it takes a strong man to live through what he did. However the middle aged man found the body to be an eyesore and took the body with one hand and threw it over the cliff.

The body of the young man did a couple of flips before it reached the water with a slash but it was just a tiny pebble compared to the waves. His body slowly drifted down towards the rocks and landed, he landed in a rock that had a light blue glow, and in the middle of the rock was a dagger it was the same dagger that the young man threw.

The body happened to be facing the dagger with its lifeless eyes looking at the dagger, then something happened, the dagger began to glow brighter and brighter until a feint image of a person appeared.

The image could barely be recognized as a person but one could not find out what it looked like. The person walked towards the young man and bent down and began gently caressed his face as it was doing that there was a feint voice coming out of the person.

"Dream a dream, of a life so new

One brimming of potential.

Of starting all again, leaving all behind,

Only happiness is essential."

When the last word was said the young man's eyes had a spark in them just like the sparks in the dagger, the dagger next to him also had a reaction, it began to vibrate and got loose of the rock it then flew towards the young man and entered him. The person seeing this seemed satisfied and slowly began to fade away.

...

Somewhere in Vietnam a young man suddenly awoke with sweat pouring out of him. "Ahhh!!!"

The young man jumped up of the spot that he was sleeping in with rapid breaths. "Where am I?"
