Of course he was, she knew it.
The butler nodded. Then putting on a grave expression, he replied absent mindedly " The young master has asked nobody to disturb him, he is.. busy in some work. "
Bowing her head, Susan politely replied " Thank you . " Then she strode in, passing the butler without another word. The butler looked in shock, calling her many times but she hurried up the stairs. Susan felt sorry for ignoring the aged man like this, but she didn't have any other option. Knowing only too well what absurd and dangerous work Advay was involved in, it was evident to stop him now more than ever.
As Susan neared the door of his room, her heart began to faster and she felt hot around the face. Advay had not talked to her since that incident, nor had he replied to her chats and messages. And here she was, outside his room, eager to talk to him.
' It's not the time to think about self respect, Susan. A man's life is at stake here. ' her inner sub conscious urged her.
Nodding to herself, she clenched her fists as she prayed god to give her all the strength in the world. Taking in a deep breath, she knocked once on the door and entered the room.
Half of the room was in dark, while the other half was illuminated by the table lamp that was shining on the study table. As Susan's fingers danced on the wall, she found the switch and flipped it on. Advay was not there. The room was your average boy's room. In the centre of the room, lay a king's sized bed all clean and comfy. Above it, various posters of basketball teams and pop singers were stickied to the wall. Below the windows, he had a cabinet full of sports gear and sneakers. In another corner, there was a door attaching bathroom to the room which was locked.
Near the main door, in a corner, a study table was placed on which his college books were placed in a neat stack. The glass shelf above the study table contained novels, mainly romance. Susan knew how much he was a hooker for romance novels. Humming inaudibly, her fingers ran the edges of the novel stopping at one.
The novel had torn edges and looked old, almost four years old. Susan had no problem recognising it. She wondered if it was still there. With trembling fingers, she opened the front page of the novel. There on the first page were the scribbled words, ' You deserve the world and I would like to give it to you ' signed by both her and Advay with heart shapes at the end. Her eyes glistened as she remembered that particular memory.
" What are you doing here? "
Shocked, Susan turned around, the book almost falling from her hands. There stood Advay, his black hair dripping excess water and a towel tied around his mid waist. Apparently, he had come out after taking a shower.
Advay's body could not be compared to Arnav's but still it was drool worthy. With a height of almost six feet, he looked tall and handsome with his perfectly chiseled abs and glowing skin. Though he still had a brown spot on his chest where he took a bullet for her, it looked more like a scar on the flawless skin. The most sexy thing about him was the gentleness that his face radiated and the softness with which he spoke, which made girls fall for him.
As Susan was staring at him wide eyed, Advay cleared his throat to get her attention.
" What are you doing here? "
As if coming out of a reverie, Susan shook her head as if to clear it. She felt a little red for staring so openly at him, even when there was nothing between them. He was not hers to begin with.
" Umm.. I wanted to talk to you. "
" But I don't want to. So, get out of my room. "
