Seeing this Echo couldn't help but get annoyed due to the situation he was in.

Being a Pathfinder means he has the job of finding the best route possible for any possible form of exploration, however the quest he have right now is situated in a desolate forest filled with snow in the middle of nowhere plus the difficulty of not having any indication of where to go next is really annoying to him, then there's also the time limit due to hunger which brings his annoyance to another level.

"I need to look for food and find a civilization, so where do I start?" Confused in where he should begin he tried to double check the description to see if there's any clue in where he should go

Unfortunately all he saw is the same thing over again. "Find a Civilization,... Where the freak do I start!!! AT Least give me some Freaking Clue game!!" Annoyed at himself for being incompetent as the holder of the title top Pathfinder but still clueless on where he should go. Unsure where to go Echo dejectedly decided to follow the route Taiko is trekking earlier

A couple minutes have past on his stale and boring journey, yet there are still no sign of other people, beast, or any form of civilization at all during his journey.

Hunger is slowly consuming him that's why he decided to find something to eat first. "from that cut scene earlier there are some worms inside the bark of a tree and Taiko managed to survived the hunger using that one" after analyzing the situation he decided to immediately grab a couple of wood and break it to see if there's a worm inside.

luckily he managed to find three worm on the first bark of tree, however none for the remaining tree. Still he decided to try and tasted one. "kinda chewy, no flavor and it still wiggles in my mouth 2 stars out of 10." after analyzing the food Echo take a look at his current stats before proceeding.

"not good enough I need to find a better one" While gathering more worms to eat he also found some herbs that has the effect of preventing hunger to go down for a couple of minutes, however this kind of herbs is an ingredient for a drug which can be harmful in the long run.

Trying to find another source of food Echo saw the first clue he was looking for, What he saw was a ruined city, with a tall tree in the middle. "Ahh finally a clue! now I know where's my destination going to be." Echo heave a sigh of relief as he speak with himself.

While looking for a civilization Taiko saw a ruined city filled with lush greenery filled with vines and moss, in the middle is what looks like a tall tree that seems to be glowing with a blue hue.

[Quest Updated: Investigate the Ruined City]

As he walk towards the ruins Echo didn't forget to eat a worm and tries to keep his satiety level above 10 minutes as well as looking for other possible food ingredients.

Nearing the ruins Echo heard laughter's on his surroundings, he tried to look around but there's no one in his surrounding, he continues on his path however the laughter is becoming more louder this time with a hint of mischief.

Not bothering himself with the laughter, Echo proceeded with caution to avoid a sudden sneak attack.

pah!

A snowball hit the back of his head but as he look behind he saw no one, laughter began to burst in his surrounding but not even a footprint nor the location of their voice can be found.

Echo now is starting to get annoyed as he tries to calm himself down, deep inside he really wanted to find that idiot laughing at him however he knows to well that he is inside the body of a frail young boy so his fighting ability was quite low.

Steeling himself Echo then rushed the ruins, however a before he reach his destination as a bunch of snowball began to rain down on him, blocking his path.

"nyahahaha"

the laughter became stronger and more apparent and now it appears to be surrounding him.

Without holding back Echo decided to run using his fastest speed to rush inside the ruins. however as he comes near to the ruins everything became serious, the snowball being thrown at him now has more strength that may cause actual damage to be hurtful, laughter is also starting to die out as his adversaries seems to focus more on throwing the snowball.

"freak! the quote when someone leaves you another one will come doesn't have to be applied here!!" Echo complains as he rushes in towards the ruins, while avoiding the snowball

Finally upon reaching the ruins everything seems to return to normal as if nothing happen, no laughing and snowballs being thrown at him.

At the entrance he saw a tiny spirit looking at him with sadness on it's face, the spirit has a blue skin like a Smurf however it has a long hair sprouting upwards like those dolls back then.

looking back at the spirit Echo couldn't help but feel sympathy towards it. He felt that the little spirit suddely lost a playmate or a friend that's why the spirit looks sad, Echo really knows a lot about this kind of feeling as he already experienced it more than once due to frequent moving as it is the nature of his parents work.

"damnit!" cursing to himself Echo slowly approached the blue spirit and asks "hey want to come with me?" A smile appears on the tiny spirit face and nods it's head uncontrollably.

slowly approaching Echo held his hand out implying the spirit join him, but as the spirit touches his finger a snowball hit Echo's face.

The tiny spirit mischievously thrown a snowball at him and laughs as he climb up to Echo's head. "You!" Echo tries to grab the spirit and bury it in snow however he got startled with a sudden notification.

"this.." Echo couldn't help but contained his anger upon seeing the buffs that the snowball whose thrown at him gives, "let's go towards the ruins!" Echo enthusiastically said as he hides his annoyance deep in his heart. "Kyaahh!!" the spirit respond with the same energy.

Walking forward the ruin Echo immediately realise the effects of the buffs he had received. "thanks for the buffs little spirit, where do you think we should go next?"

"kyaahh!" the spirit reply and points forward a pillar full of vines and moss. "is there any important thing there?" Echo probe for information, "Kya?.. kyahh!"

"if that's your answer then that's our destination, by the way is it okay if I call you Trip? well it's kinda hard to accompany someone without knowing his name." Echo told the spirit this as he tried to hide the real reason he is trying to be friendly with the spirit.

It is for the fact that he wanted to try and maybe gain some other benefits from the little spirit. After all there are usually hidden rewards in the middle of the quest.

"kyaaaahhh!!" the spirit answered with confirmation.

A huge smile can be seen on Echo's face as he saw the success of his earlier plan.
