32 Enspiritus

He spotted Enspiritus in the distance, the sun was rising behind it giving it a golden glow. The city was sitting in the plains, near a large, crystal blue lake. His wings were wrapped around him making a cloak and a hood that hid his real self and real appearance as he stepped into the city. The people seemed to not even notice him as he simply walked in the main street. They were busy with their own lives, ignoring him. Someone called his name, "How have you been, Vidian?" He turned and saw the lady from the human village that he had helped when he was doing Lady Dorana's work, "Surprised?"

"Oh, um, hello, I guess it has been a little while."

"Come with me, I'll bring you to the altar of Lady Aniya, she will be expecting you, if you are doing the correct route of blessings," She smiled as she began walking, "How were the other works?"

"Fine," He sighed and looked around, "This seems too much like a fake city, everything seems perfect."

"I guess you could say that, Vidian, I guess you could."

"Is it fake?"

"I don't know, what do you see?" She said as the city began fading leaving them in front of a large golden temple, "What do you see? Tell me."

"Only a temple, nothing else."

"Your blessing is working well, the city you thought you were in is a few hundreds of meters away, eastwards, but this, this is Lady Aniya's temple."

"What? Was that your doing?" She sat down on the steps of the temple, "Who are you?"

"Can't you see who I am?" The elderly figure disappeared, leaving a pale skinned, black haired figure, with a small frame and dressed in white robes, "Has your mind realized that it had to use the blessing?"

"You are, Lady Aniya?"

"No, I am only Lady Zhonya."

"I am sorry for being rude, Lady Zhonya."

"You wouldn't have known, your blessing only works if you try to use it," She smiled as she began walking up the stairs, "Why do you hide your real appearance?"

"I am told to be intimidating normally."

"Demon?"

"Yes, asked if I was a demon was one of the things I have had several times."

"How unlucky, follow me, Lady Anya will want to see you, since you have come all the way here to see her."

"I have a question, Lady Zhonya."

"Ask away, Vidian."

"Who are Lady Anya's lesser gods?"

"There is myself, Seraph and Venusaria, I am the goddess of mending, Seraph, the god of care and Venusaria is the goddess of love."

"Is Lady Anya available for my arrival?"

"Yes, my lady is, please, enter the temple," He placed his hand on the door and it opened on it's own, "This is her temple," Lord Seraph was pacing slowly near people who were being treated on beds by several priestesses, "This is where I normally am, but Seraph is taking over from my absence, he will take you to Lady Anya."

"Ah, Vidian, please, come with me, I shall bring you to Lady Anya, she is waiting for you," He was taller than Vidian, but by a few inches and had a long white robe that had blue and green patterns at its ends. They entered a smaller room behind the care room where Lady Venusaria was sitting with Lady Anya, "My lady, Vidian of the Great Desert," Seraph bowed his head as Lady Anya turned to look at them again.

"Sit down, Vidian, join me," He sat down on one of the cushions on the floor, that was slightly lower than the seat hat Lady Anya took, "How has your trip been?"

"Not very tiring, Lady Anya, I am here for my works."

"You rush a lot, Vidian, how long has it been since you started Lord Eternum's quest?"

"3, maybe 4 months, Lady Anya, but I have had much time to rest."

"As you wanted to begin your works, you will have a bed here if you want it."

"I don't sleep, Lady Anya, thank you."

"Your mind never rests?" Lord Seraph seemed surprised.

"That must tiring, on your mind and body," Lady Venusaria added, "How can you do this?"

"He has blessings, mainly those of the mind, of the night and of the day, they allow him to last that long," Lady Anya explained, "But, for your works, Vidian, Lady Venusaria will give you your first task," She gestured to Venusaria, "All yours."
