11 When the Tree Falls, the Bird Flies

When Ni Yuzhou read the letter, she tried her best to not cry, she had known what was going to happen but she could barely believe it. Why did he have to leave? Why where there no signs? She had streams of tears on her face before she knew it.

It was the first time her father had ever said this much but it had to be in a letter...

She grabbed the letter like a piece of gold and walked towards a corner, she turned around and sat down, her head between her legs and cried, and cried and cried, she cried her heart out.

A long time later, when the darkness covered the light, she stopped crying, she stood up wiped away her tears and stared outside into the distance with a resolute look.

"I will get strong, father and I will find out why you left, maybe I could take care of you... like you did for me all my life." She muttered to herself.

Ni Yuzhou folded up the letter and carefully placed it into her clothes, she went over to the closet next to her bed and got a few pairs of clothes. She folded them up and placed them into a ring that her father gave her a year ago.

She did not know where Archosaur was or who the Elder there is but since her father told her to go there she would, if it could help her get stronger and reunite with her father she would do anything.

She took a look around the house if trying to memorize every tiny spec of the house that she had lived in her whole life, she knew that she was not going to return in a long, long time. She then walked outside the door and looked back at her house, it was not luxurious, in fact, it was very shabby, but it made her feel very... safe and warm, just like her father.

She suddenly got an idea, maybe she could still protect her house while she was away, she did not want it to deteriorate or get destroyed while she and her father were away. She lifted up her hand and transferred some of her energy from her dantain to her hand and suddenly and orb of blue light appeared above her hand, she then threw it to her house and when the orb hit it spread across her house making a barrier. That was something that her father taught her across the years, among other things.

She took one last look at her house before she turned around and walked away. She did not know where she was going but she would find information along the way, she then ran towards the city at incredible speeds.
