6 Insight

When Ni Yuzhou woke up in the morning she felt refreshed.

She was astonished, she could barely move last night, how could she be perfectly fine the next morning?

As if her father knew what she was thinking his voice rang out.

"Because of your cultivation." He explained

She tried to find her cultivation and in her mind, there were 6 blue-purple semi-transparent slabs in a void of darkness. Ni Yuzhou guessed that those slabs were her cultivation.

"There are 99 slabs in dao foundation, that will be the foundation of your dao temple." Her father further explained.

"What's a dao temple?" She asked. He keeps saying those weird terms.

"A dao temple is made out of the insights of your class on top of your dao foundation. The dao temple you make decides what path you will take in the future." Her father explained.

"Then how do I build my dao temple to be a Stormbringers'?" She questioned.

"What do you imagine a Stormbringer to be?" Her father answered with a question.

She fell in deep thought as soon as she heard what he said. What did she imagine a Stormbringer as? She had never seen a Stormbringer before so she did not know what to imagine.

When she started thinking that she needed something to compare to then her father's voice rang out and guided her.

"Why should you imagine someone else's instead of yours?"

She had an inspiration when she heard that. Why should she imagine someone else's? She then thought what she wanted it to be.

Her father watched as she fell in a weird state. He watched her expressions change from time to time as she tried to think about what she wanted a Stormbringer to be. He gently smiled seeing this.

The face of hers reminded of him when he was younger...

————

In a secluded courtyard in a large world, there a boy sitting in a meditative pose and an old man watching him and brewing tea on a table.

"Master, I can't think about what I want a Blademaster to be, can I see one?" A devilishly handsome little boy pouted and said to his master.

He had never been outside before and never seen any other race or even a class. How could he imagine something he had never seen?

"Why should you imagine someone else's instead of yours?" An old man said softly. His voice was gentle like a spring breeze, he said that while he continued brewing tea.

When the little boy heard this he fell in deep thought and after a while, his facial expressions changed from time to time just like Ni Yuzhou.

The master smiled gently at this just like how Ni Yuzhou's father did.

————

After two hours she finally figured out what she wanted a Stormbringer to be, she let out a cute giggle when she did.

"Daddy?"

"Hmm?" He said.

"You did the same thing as me didn't you?" Ni Yuzhou let out a little giggle as she said that. How else would he know what to say when she was confused?

Her father did not respond.

She then asked another question.

"Why do I have to imagine what a Stormbringer is?"

She could not understand what relation a Stormbringer was to her dao temple.

"You have to imagine what you want to be since a Dao Temple what will be with you your entire life, and what you will train with.

Ni Yuzhou let out a silly smile as soon as she heard the last sentence, she knew exactly what she was going to build.

The pair got on with their new routine as they went off to get breakfast.

When they got back they trained. This time she did not feel looking at the scroll was as painful but it still hurt a lot. Today she also felt that the pressure was 6 times heavier instead of five.

That was because her father felt that her physique improved massively after yesterday so she needed more pressure to improve.

Ni Yuzhou endured the entire day until it was sundown where she collapsed on the ground just like yesterday. Her father washed her and fed her then carried her off to bed.

The next day the pressure increased again to seven.

The next day the pressure increased again to eight.

The next day…

Her father increased the pressure every day and each and every time she could barely resist it due to her improving physique.

Her cultivation increased also, but every time she went to 10, 20, 30… mark her cultivation would slow down just a tiny bit but she would notice. She then decided to ask her father about it.

"Why does my cultivation slow down every ten levels?" Ni Yuzhou asked while they were still in bed.

"Every ten levels there is a bottleneck and then it would require more insights into your cultivation for it to increase." Her father explained while still holding her.

Ni Yuzhou listened to the explanation carefully but when she heard all of it she no longer cared. 'It doesn't affect me too much so why should I care?'

If she would have said this thought out loud in an area full of people she would have been strangled to death by the frustrated cultivators or captured by some old grandpas and grandmas.

Fortunately, she did not, whether it is fortunate for Ni Yuzhou or the other people you don't get to know.

They continued to train for 8 more days until she was on the edge of the next realm, Dao Building. In Dao Building one has to build up a dao temple to get to the next stage, Dao Transformation, where one can get to pick a class to train. They can also change their race if they have the resources.

———

Ni Yuzhou was sitting on her father's lap as he explained something.

"Now you have reached the peak of Dao Foundation you have to break through it." He explained.

"How do I break through?" Ni Yuzhou asked. She could feel that if she trained more it would not help at all.

"Do you see the 99 slabs in your mind?" He asked.

Ni Yuzhou nodded as she went into her mind. There she saw 99 transparent blue-purple slabs.

"Now do you know what your doy temple is going to be?" Her father asked.

She nodded, she knew exactly what it would be.

"Now build the thing that supports your temple." He instructed.

She thought for a while, what supported her Dao temple…? After a bit of thinking, she got an idea.

She moved the slabs in her mind into a shape of a house.

The house was quite small, it had one room off to the right and a bath next to it. In the room there was not much, there were a bed and a closet next to it. In the room where the bath was in, there was nothing except the bath.

In the left of the house was the kitchen, there were a stove and a grill off to one side and on the other, there were 2 chairs right next to each other.

The house seemed really small seemed to be only meant for 1 or 2 people.

As soon as she completed the house her cultivation jumped, it went from the 99 stage of Dao Foundation to 25th of Dao Building.

Her father raised his eyebrows a little at this, 'It looks like she made something perfect for herself.'
