14 Elder of Archosaur

Ni Yenzi flew over to the east side of the city under astonished stares of the people nearby, but due to the bustle of the city they quickly got back to what they were doing, it was nice to look at something flashy, but they might miss a deal or a sale. He made his way to an odd building dead in the center of the east side of Archosaur, it was a small villa of sorts, it had 3 buildings, each was relatively small, about 400 square meters of space and high tile roofs. One was sideways facing the river running by, and the two remaining were in front of the sideways one parallel to each other.

Ni Yenzi saw the buildings and jumped off his sword in mid-air, he was flying relatively high, about the hight of the wall. He fell all the way down under the shocked gazes of everyone there, there were not many people there, it was just some guards and some couples with their children, it was a good place to go sightseeing. Around the 50-meter mark, Ni Yenzi started to slow down, one could see tiny ripples of air underneath his feet and they were gliding him downwards slowly.

He landed in a walking a position, and Ni Yenzi walked forward elegantly like it was natural. He continued walking into he reached the three buildings, where he saw an elderly man with white hair and a long beard playing with some children. When Ni Yenzi saw the elder he smiled a bit, it had been too long since he had seen him again.

The elder felt a familiar presence and looked up, he saw a familiar face that had not changed in generations, he also smiled.

"Hold up children, there is someone who I would like you to meet." The elder looked back at the children and said with a smile, pointing at Ni Yenzi. "This is uncle Yenzi, he is a friend of mine for a long time and now he is here to visit."

"Hi, Uncle Yenzi!!" All the children who were playing with the elder looked up at the normal looking man and greeted him. Ni Yenzi just nodded at them to show something, he would usually not even look at those children but due to the elder pointing him out he had to be polite.

The children, seeing that 'Uncle Yenzi' did not respond very well just went back to their playing after they greeted him. The elder wryly smiled seeing this.

"Looks like you still haven't changed even after this long..." The elder excused himself from the children and walked over to Ni Yenzi.

"It is not something I can change on a whim." Ni Yenzi replied.

"If a whim is a few years then sure, but you had much more time than a few years." The elder added.

"Then it is something that I do not want to change." Ni Yenzi replied back.

The elder just shook his head regarding this. "So... why are you here? You usually don't show yourself just to catch up with some old friends right?"

"Yes, this time I have a favor to ask of you." Ni Yenzi said.

"What kind of favor?" The elder was interested, not many things could have him seeking help.

"Taking care of someone." Ni Yenzi said.

"Who?" The elder asked.

"A girl named Ni Yuzhou. She should be coming here in about 3 months." Ni Yenzi answered.

"What is so special about her that you want me to take care of her?" The elder asked.

"She is my daughter." Ni Yenzi voice suddenly got a little chilly, he did not want the elder to question any further.

"You have a daughter?!! Who is the mother?!" The elder was shocked beyond belief, for as long as he had known him he and no attraction to any woman at all and now he suddenly shows up saying he has a daughter!

Ni Yenzi did not respond to that question. The elder realized that he had probably overstepped his boundaries with that question.

"Fine, I'll take care of her when she comes. Why did you leave her anyways?" The elder resided but still wanted to ask that question.

"The gateway is opening and I need to be there. This is a huge opportunity to strike back at the Wraiths, one that I can not miss." Ni Yenzi replied.

"What!? It's actually opening?! No wonder you are leaving her with me... if it doesn't work out she may be in danger... It would be nice when this war would end soon, it has been going on for too long..." The elder said with a sigh.

"Indeed." Ni Yenzi also agreed, he would rather spend his time with his daughter than be in a war, this is a time in his daughter's life that he can not make up for.

"You better get going then, if you miss this opening then there might not be another chance." The elder said.

"Not yet. There is still something that I need to do before I can go." With that, he directly left on his sword leaving behind the still shocked elder.

He directly went over to the other side of East Archosaur to the high leveled forges, there was no one using them due to the materials and skill needed to use one. These were high leveled forges! High leveled forges were used to create ranked items, they were different from normal items, for ranked items they had their own thoughts, if the user did not meet the requirements of the item then they cannot display any of the item's actual strength. But if one could then ranked armor is the best that one can make with forges.

He took out a bunch of materials, some gold looking metal with an ancient feeling, a large blue crystal that was the color of glaciers, and another crystal that seemed to hold lighting. He released some of his energy to move the items to the forge and placed them inside, once inside he placed a lid on top of the forge and heated the forge up with his energy, it looked like lava yet it was not slow at all, it looked very nimble like air.

Within an hour of heating, the forge started to show signs of stress, Ni Yenzi did not mind it at all and he heated it up more. Within two hours the forge showed signs of breaking, now Ni Yenzi stopped heating it up, he lifted the lid with some of his energy and then looked inside, inside there was a mix of blue and yellow lighting in a pool of thick yellow liquid.

"This is the hard part..." He muttered underneath his breath.

He then lifted the forge up and then poured all the liquid out of the forge, he then suddenly released a massive amount of energy into a shape, it was a shape of a synth but it was very exquisite with fine and sharp details all along the blade. He poured the liquid into his energy and held it there, slowly shaping the liquid into it solidified.
