8 Departure

When Ni Yuzhou was done with her Dao Temple her father told her something.

"There will now be a trial, your Dao Temple would usually pressure you… in your case it will probably battle you. The trial is meant to tell if the user is worthy." Her father said, even he did not know what the trial would be.

The representation of her father in her dantain became alive, and it started attacking her cultivation, if she did not stop it, it would ruin her cultivation. Ni Yuzhou went into her dantain and started attacking her Dao Temple.

She had missed her first few attacks, that was not surprising, her Dao Temple was modeled off her father, and had the same skills she had seen him use when she figured that out she became serious.

She tried to attack again and she still did not hit him, but she had some time to think and she figured something out if the Dao Temple was based on her father and the skills she had seen him use, what if she used an attack that he had never reacted against?

She then tried to do some move that she had never used before, a slap, one of the worst moves in combat. It hit him off guard.

She then took that opportunity and held him in a combo and hit him for a good 5 minutes, after exactly 5 minutes the Dao temple that was alive turned back into a statue again. It may be turned back to stone but when it did it released a very powerful aura of lightning and water.

Ni Yuzhou felt that she was becoming stronger and lighter, she could also see blue particles all in the air around her, the particles seemed both calmness and gentleness of water and the ferocity of lightning.

The particles that she could see suddenly charged towards her and went in her dantain, her Dao building and temple (they are interlocked) and they added a blue aura around the building and statue. She could then now feel a weird energy building up inside of her, it made her feel powerful, she released some of the energy to see what it could do.

"Booom!!"

An explosion happened when she released some of her energy, her father had to react and put up a field of energy to keep the house from exploding. Ni Yuzhou was surprised that her energy was so powerful, but when she saw her father's face she stiffly smiled.

"Do not do that again."

He said in an emotionless voice.

"Hehe…"

She laughed it off, she then looked around to see if anything got damaged, luckily her father managed to contain the blast that she made.

"Is it supposed to be that powerful?" She asked her father.

"Yes. Yours is stronger than others." Her father said in an emotionless voice.

Ni Yuzhou smiled sweetly hearing a compliment from her father, he did not give those out often.

"Now you have gotten to this stage it is not my place to train you any longer." Her father then continued. She was confused, what did he mean that he was not going to train her any longer? Was someone else going to train her? Was he going to leave her? She got afraid at this point.

"No!!! Daddy!! Don't leave me!!" She ran up to her father and hugged him, she then yelled in his chest. He did not respond, confirming her fears. It was too sudden, not even a shadow, everything was normal until today where he suddenly said he would leave her.

While she was bawling her eyes out on his chest, her father was not emotionless as he usually was, he had a tinge of emotion in his eyes as he looked at his daughter.

"I don't want to train anymore!! I don't want to become a cultivator!! I just want to be with you!! Please!! Please don't leave me!!!" She banged on his chest with her small fists while tears were streaming down her eyes.

"I'm afraid that is no longer possible, plans have been set in motion, and you are one of them."
