12 Archosaur

When Ni Yenzi woke up he felt his daughter in his embrace, it was quite a nice feeling, one that he had enjoyed every day for the past 12 years, he looked at his daughter, the one that he had raised, the one that he had looked after, trained, cared for, loved... but today was the last time he was going to see her for a while. He brushed some hair off Ni Yuzhou's face and looked at it... after a long time he sighed, he went forward and kissed her on her forehead lovingly.

He got up from the bed and made sure that she did not wake up and got a note and a piece of crystal, the note was the one that Ni Yuzhou found in the morning, he placed it next to her and put a spell on it just in case it would be damaged. As for the crystal, it was light blue, the color of the ocean, he looked at it carefully before he went to his daughter and placed it on her dantain, the crystal melted into her dantain quietly.

Once everything was done he went outside the house and looked to the horizon, "It starts again." He said with a little smile, even though he was leaving his daughter, he had been waiting for this for quite a long time. He then stepped forward and jumped into the air, at the peak of his jump a massive blade materialized under his feet, it was red and black with exquisite craftsmanship, every detail was elegant and powerful, but the most obvious part of the blade was its glow and aura, it seemed ancient and extremely overbearing and alongside that was a red glow covering the blade which made it even more overbearing.

Ni Yenzi landed on the blade silently and ordered the blade to go, the blade did not hesitate at all and sped up at astronomical speeds, it was so fast that bystanders could only see a red streak flying across the horizon. 'I need to visit Thousand Streams first don't I?' He forgot that he did not have his weapon, it had been quite a long time since he had needed his weapon, he entrusted it to a close friend before he left.

'Wait, I need to warn the Elder first before I go.' He had totally forgotten that. 'Resting for too long really does deteriorate your mind' He quietly said in his heart. Suddenly the blade that he was on turned and headed south-west, towards Archosaur.

Within 8 hours he arrived, that speed is practically unreal for basically all cultivators, for the place he was living, which was Etherblade to Archosaur would take weeks if not months for a cultivator, much less mortals.

In his vision appeared a city, it was majestic, to say the least, it was 15km by 20km, the walls around it were made of a dark polished stone that towered 600 meters tall. On the wall, there were towers every few hundred meters, in those towers, were soldiers with astonishing might, not a single one was below the realm of Dao Recognition, for normal people that is basically unreachable, no matter how hard they try.

The city was mostly surrounded by land but on the east side there was a massive river, on the other sides of the walls were massive gates that opened up to the city, the gates were made out of wood and supported by rails of metal.

Outside the city were massive amounts of people, some on mounts such as foxes, wolves, snakes, any type of animal that one could imagine could be found here, there were also people flying in the air, they stood on swords or orbs that floated, there were also some that had wings, some plain, some colorful and spectacular. Of course, nothing could be compared to the one that Ni Yenzi was on.

"Woah!! Look! That person is riding on such an amazing sword! Maybe he belongs to one of the great clans!" A pretty female said while looking at Ni Yenzi, if she could get close to him she could live her life in luxury.

"Tsk. Like he would even look at you, he probably has housefuls of women at home." A friend of that female said to her, dissuading her from the idea. There were many powerful men here, and almost all of them were much more handsome than that man.

"Still..." The pretty woman was a little reluctant to give up.

"This is your first time here so I'll explain something, Archosaur is one of the major cities of the world, there is no lack of anything here especially powerful people." The pretty female's friend explained to her.

"Wow! I hope I get lucky..." The pretty female muttered.

Her friend just shook her head, plenty of nieve people come to Archosaur like that... almost all of them had their dreams crushed, the world was cruel like that.

There were similar scenes across the entrance of Archosaur, Ni Yenzi's entrance made a massive impact, even if there were flashy rides, none were even close to his. He flew all the way to the gate, the guards were cautious, just based on his ride they knew he was not simple.

"Excuse me, sir, do you have a pass?" The guard at the entrance said carefully.

Ni Yenzi did not say anything and just held out his hand and opened it, a badge made with ancient gold appeared, it was a shape of a shield and had a majestic dragon in it.

The guard almost shit his pants when he saw the insignia, just it being made out of ancient gold was luxurious enough, ancient gold was the most precious metal that anyone could ever have, if one appeared in an auction, even just the tiniest piece would make most clans bankrupt. But that was not the most astonishing part of it, it was the symbol, it represented an order, one that was legendary, he only knew of it through his strength, once he stepped into Dao Recognition his superiors told him about it and to be his utmost respectful if he ever saw anyone with it if not, the city would be in danger. Order of the Dragon!
