67 The Last Three

Every single person in the venue is silent as they wait for James to call out the last three names, and they needed to stay silent, these three names are very important to the academy and maybe the future of this kingdom.

James is also very excited to read the final three names as well since he wanted to see if anyone has come close to his record of 10000 points.

"The final three huh, I wonder how they will impact the academy's reputation?"

The director said while she looked at the two students in the front, these two are part of the top three names.

"They will indeed make a massive impact, well maybe two of them"

The Vice-Principal said.

"I don't see the boy we are here for"

The Director said.

"He might be at the back, what do you think about this boy, Principal sir?"

She asked.

He said a word and went silent again, the Director was surprised by his word but she didn't ask much, she got her answer, the Principal is very keen on this boy who got the top score, the only thing she doesn't know is how much the boy has scored, only a few people know about it, the Principal and the person who checked the scores, his secretary.

Till now the seven of the top ten have not shown anything special, they are similar to last year's students, they were not bad but they were not exceptional either.

Right in the front row where the students are, two of them are sitting, and the eight seats next to them are empty, and all eyes are on them because it is very clear that these two are the two of the top three and one of them might be the rank 1.

One guy is sitting on the chair with a proud smile on his face, he has long red hair, tall stature, and dark crimson eyes, his skin is pale white, and the red luxury coat he is wearing makes him look like a god among men, the aura around him also seem very hot, but the most attracting thing about him is not actually him but his Religan, he has two small red war-axe hanging on his back, its blades are thick but the edges seem very sharp, the dark red battles on the handle of the axe looked like blood, this Religan looks really menacing.

He is clearly noble, one could clearly see the arrogance in his attitude, it seems very clear to him that he is going to rank 1st in this event.

Two seats away from him is a very young boy, he has medium length black hair, blue eyes, his frame was medium and he didn't stand out too much, his gears are simple and he didn't stand out too much, he looks like a commoner which is a surprise to many people as he made to the top three.

The only thing that was standing out on this young boy is his Religan, a long spear that has a faint orange and red glow on the blade's edges, the spear looks normal but the glow it is giving out on its edges makes it look very unique.

But people's eyes are also on the other empty chair because one of them is missing, and they didn't know who is taking the rank 1 spot, the two contenders looked at each other to see if they are the one.

The noble kid looks confident that he is going to take the first place while the boy with the spear also thinks he can take the first place since he has also done great in the entrance exam killing monsters.

They also looked at the empty seat and wondered who this person is and why is he or she not here, with the points they have they should be really excited about being here.

Behind the crowd Zio has completely dozed of as this event was too boring for him, he was done looking through his skills and since he got bored, he went to sleep.

Asura's voice suddenly rang inside Zio's head and he woke up and looked around to see what is happening, he noticed that the people have gone silent as they waited for the next names to be called.

'What is going on?'

He asked confused.

[The last three names are going to be called, you should keep an eye on the two that will come before you]

Asura said.

'Ok'

He said and looked at the stage.

Back on the podium, James took a deep breath that looked at the cards in front of him, he pulled the top card and put it behind revealing the card which has the name of the 3rd rank holder.

"Impressive, at 3rd place with the martial level of Energy Manipulation Level 1"

As he said this the two students sitting in the front got a little tensed up as both of them are at Energy Manipulation Level 1.

"And the score of 9200 is Leon Crimson, age 17"

James finished his sentence, the noble boy who had an arrogant expression on his face fell as he heard the result, he couldn't believe he placed 3rd, he thought he would get the rank 1 position no matter what, his score is 9200, the second-highest in history, right behind James's own score.

He is pissed, he then glared angrily at the boy with the spear and walked past him and walked up the podium to collect his Id, the beautiful senior smiled at him while giving him his ID card but he didn't say anything and just snatched it out of her hand.

The senior student didn't appreciate the gesture from Leon, but she couldn't do anything, she knew that this boy would have a great future, and making an enemy of him is not a good idea.

Leon Crimson then walked to the side and sat down while he stared at the boy with the spear, he hated him because he is embarrassed, the boy with the spear looks younger than him, and on top of that both of them exchanged glances and they clearly told each other that they are going to take rank 1, even though it was not verbal they both still understood what the other was saying.

Now Lean hopped that the boy with the spear doesn't get rank 1 either, instead of him being wrong, it's better for both of them to be wrong.
