63 The First Person

Selistia looked at her brother and thought about what Zio said and wondered if her brother wants the fame he has, she wondered if she wanted the same amount of fame that her brother has.

She knows the advantages that it brought to her but now Zio gave his opinion on it, she started to question the fame, and wondered if they will make her life easy or hard?

She didn't know and she had to wait for it, and one thing she is really certain about, she will be very famous, she doesn't know if she will be able to compete with her brother in terms of fame but she knows she will have a very high position in the academy just because of her looks and background.

Humans are like that, they are attracted to beautiful and powerful people, no matter where they live.

She sat down and watched as the crowd also started to quiet down, Selistia's brother James finally sighed after seeing the crowd calm down, he looked around in the front and frowned because he couldn't see his sister anywhere in the front row.

He knew his sister's own strength so he knew that she would make to the top ten but he couldn't find her anywhere.

'Is she late?

He thought to himself, he then decided to start because he cannot keep the principal waiting for much longer, this bearded man is one of the strongest men in the kingdom, and making his wait is the worst thing James could do.

He even wondered why this man is here, he had no reason to be here because this is just an event for welcoming the new students into the academy, the Vice Principal alone attending this event would have been a big deal.

On top of that, even the school director is here, he knew that something big was happening but he didn't know what.

He looked back at the crowd and decided to start the event.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to this event, My name is James Fernandes and I will be the host of today's event and will also be calling out the names of the students that will be joining the academy as my juniors.

I promise all my juniors that the coming four years of your life will be the best thing you will ever experience, you will learn many things and these things will help you shape your future, so I think many of you are really excited about this event.

But there be also be many, in fact, the majority of you will not be accepted into the academy but don't worry, you being here means you have a chance to rise to the top, there are many schools that belong to the academy around the country and they will accept any of you without any entrance exam.

I hope all of you do your best and provide this great kingdom of ours with your greatness"

James ended his speech which was followed by a massive outburst of applause, even the three main guest of this event, the Director, the Vice Principal, and the Principal also added a few applause of their own in the mix.

"Looks like little James has become a lot more capable with the crowd"

The Director said with a smile on her face as she looked at James's back.

"Stop staring at boys younger than you, you are an old woman"

The Vice-Principal said with a low voice as he noticed how the Director was looking at young James.

"What did you say? Are you tired of living? I am still half your age, you old geezer"

She fumed with anger.

"Both of you shut up, Bali, where is that boy?"

The old man in the beard who is also the Principal asked the Vice Principal

"I don't know who the boy is, but it should be someone in the front"

He said as he tried to find the boy they are talking about.

"I see two good students but I don't see the one I am looking for"

The old Principal said.

"Maybe he is sitting in the behind"

The Director said. She is also very curious about this boy the old Principal is talking about.

"Hmm"

The Principal said and went back to being silent.

James on the other hand started the event and called out the first name.

"I won't make you wait any longer and will start this event, the first person to enter the academy with a score of 1100 at 300th place, Rave Corry"

As his name was called a person who seems to be around 17 years old got up from the middle of the crowd with an excited expression on his face, he couldn't believe it that he made it, he was unsure whether he would make it or not, but now that his name has been called he didn't care about his score at all.

He just became a student of the Academy, his life is set now, even though he placed last, it's still better than others who will not make it and have to go to the schools that are connected to the academy but are not the academy.

He quickly walked towards the podium where he was greeted by another student of the academy, this student is a girl and she is very beautiful as well, the new student was enchanted by her beauty as he quietly stood in front of her.

She smiled and asked him for his badge and put it away, she then handed him a card which will be his new ID card for the academy from now on.
