33 Academy?

Everyone stared at Zio as it was clear that he is the one who stopped the thief from escaping, the guards who arrested the thief returned the pouch that was stolen to the girl it was stolen from.

The girl quickly took the pouch of the guard's hand and held it tightly, it was very clear from her action that whatever was inside that pouch was very precious and she would have been in a lot of trouble if the thief had escaped.

The thief who was just captured and cuffed looked at Zio with fierce eyes but he couldn't do anything right now, the guards took him away while one of the guards approached Zio, this guard seems to be the leader of the guards that just arrested the thief.

"Young man, thank you for helping us, my name is Lieutenant Baston, If it was not for you we wouldn't have been able to find this thief"

He said and extended his arm to shake Zio's hand.

Zio also extended his hand and grabbed the Lieutenant's hand and shook it.

"You seem quite strong for a kid of your age, are you here to join the academy?"

The Lieutenant asked curiously.

"Academy?"

Zio was confused as this is the first time he heard about this academy.

'It is a place where you go to learn and study about particular things, what are these things depend on the academy itself on what they teach, it can be arts, literature or combat.'

Asura informed Zio inside his head.

'So can I join the academy?'

Zio asked as he was curious about this academy.

'I think it is a good idea, you will be able to learn and figure out more about the world by joining the academy, answer him, yes, he might be able to give us more information about the academy'

"Yes, I want to join the academy"

Zio answered to the Lieutenant.

"I see, I hope you do good there, seeing that you already have a very nice Religan, it would be quite easy for you to get into the academy"

Baston said and smiled. He was happy to see a young man as strong as Zio join the academy, he can clearly see that Zio is very strong and his future can be very bright and if he joins the kingdom's force it will be a huge gain for them.

"Ok then, kid, I will be leaving, that person who you just caught is a dangerous criminal that we were searching for quite a long time and now he is in our hands, I need to report it to my superior"

He said and walked away leaving Zio alone, people returned back to doing what they were doing as time won't stop for them to look around, they need to do their job if they want their work done.

Zio was a little disappointed because the lieutenant didn't have much to say, he just wished Zio some luck but he did understand that his Religan can help him get into the academy.

"Excuse me?"

Zio suddenly heard a male voice coming from behind, he turned around and saw that it was the group of teenagers who he just helped, the one who is just called him is a male who seems to be 16 years old, he looks pretty decent with fair skin and above-average height.

"Thank you for stopping that thief, if he had escaped with that pouch ur teacher would have definitely punished us"

He said and bowed his head at Zio showing his appreciation to Zio, some of the teenagers behind him also bowed their head a little while some didn't bother to do so.

Zio didn't know what to say and just nodded his head at them, it was still a little awkward for Zio to talk to someone he has never seen or talked before.

"If there is any way, we can help you, we don't want your effort to helping us go to waste"

The young teenager said.

When Zio heard this he knew his little plan was successful.

"Money would do"

He said.

The young teenager was not surprised by this answer because it was common for people to ask for money when they help, the young teenager smiled and took out a pouch from his pocket and handed it over to Zio.

"This pouch has 100 silver coins, it may seem too much but the help you provided us was much more"

The young teenager said and smiled.

Zio took the pouch and placed it tightly under his belt, he doesn't want it to fall or get stolen.

"Can you help me with something else?"

Zio asked. Since he didn't know anything about the city, he decided to go and check out the academy.

"Hmm? What is it?"

The young teenager asked.

"Can you show me where the academy is?"

Zio asked.

"Oh, so you are going to the academy, are you planning to join the academy?"

He asked while looking at the beautiful bow in Zio's hand.

"Yes, I am"

Zio answered.

"That's great, we are the students of the academy as well, follow us and we will guide you there"

He said. Zio nodded his head and started to follow the group of teenagers to the academy.

On there way only the teenager who talked with Zio interacted with him, the rest of them didn't bother to speak at all, they only whispered among themselves, the girls would giggle while whispering into each other's ears while the boys seemed to be a little annoyed by this and would glare at Zio.

Zio who had perfected his physical body had also enhanced his six senses so he could easily hear what the girls were talking about, he heard them calling him cute and handsome but Zio didn't understand what they meant at all, Asura also seems to have quoted down so Zio ignored them and talked to the leader of the group.
