2 Chapter 2 - Pet shop
Jimin was busy eating his breakfast but got startled when he heard clangs and clings due to the door opening. He was amused and suddenly star strucked when a young man entered the pet shop. Woah. Just woah. Jimin didn't thought that he'll be atractted with a person who has a same gender as him
"morning kid" the guy welcomed "what can I help you". He added
"good morning sir. I--" Jungkook turned his back when he heared the door opened revealing his hyung, yoongi. "so I was saying. I want a pet" he finished showing his bright bunny smile
Jimin then forgot about his food and just continueing to stare at the beautiful creature infront of him. Meanwhile Jungkook still hasn't noticing the presence of the cat because it wasn't even moving
"well I have a lot here. Which pet do you wanna have, kid?" the owner replied
"I'm not a kid. I'm 22 years old. Turning 23 in just few months" Jungkook said scratching the back of his neck in embarassment "anyway I wanna have a rabbit, or hamster, or bir-- no no... Maybe a fi-- no. Okay I'll stick with rabbit"
"seems you aren't prepare on what to really get huh" the owner chuckled and Jungkook just smiled and nodded "alright boy, follow me"
Yoongi was about to follow the two but didn't bother when his eyes caught Jimin "wait. am I seeing a cat with colorful bird feathers or a bird with long tail and lots of furs--" yoongi was amazed by Jimin's look "did a bird and a cat shared genes to create you? Wow"
He caressed Jimin's back and smiled in satisfaction "--no no yoongs. Don't be soft" he shrugged it off and shook his head but ended up on giving jimin the softest gummy smile
"Jungkook ah, you sure you don't wanna have a cat instead?" Yoongi asked the younger
"why would I get a cat if I already have you" Jungkook teases making yoongi tsk and forget about the question
"if I just really know how to take care and raise a pet then I'll get you but sadly no" Yoongi whispered making Jimin pout but not visible
Almost half an hour has passed yet Jungkook still can't pick a rabbit he wanna get so he decided to change his plans to a hamster
"I'm sorry mister but I think I wanna have hamster instead" Jungkook scrunched his nose recieving a smile and nod from the old man
"okay then follow me" as the man said, Jungkook followed him to the other section and got amused by the playing hamsters but still nothing got his interest "are you sure you wanna have a pet kid?"
"I mean, yes. I came here so excited but I just don't know what pet will fit--" Jungkook's word was cut off when finally spotted Jimin "woah. What.. Is.. That"
"oh uh... I--..." the owner thinks for a second "A unique cat. That's rare kid and I don't se---" the owner was cut off when Jungkook rushed towards tbe cat
"okay im decided. I want this cat" Jungkook pointed at the cat
"b-but boy. He's not for sale" the owner said making Jungkook disappointed. Jungkook carried the cat and stared at its eyes
He smiled in amazed because of the cat's different color eyes. "I thought you don't wanna have a cat" Yoongi hissed
"please I wanna buy him" Jungkook pleased but the owner says no "please. Please. I'll give you a deal. I just wanna have this"
"I'm sorry kid but again. That cat isn't for sale"
"oh come on!." Jungkook exclaimed and started to pretend that he's really disappointed (even though he really is) and about to cry "how much is him? I can triple the price. Just please"
The owner was about to say no again but Jungkook pouted with his shining doe eyes which is really irresistible. A quiet filled the place for a couple of second and breaking it with the owners sigh
He stared at the cat for another couple of seconds thinking so hard if he'll gonna give up the cat that early.
"four hundred and fifty$". The owner says and recieving a loud 'YES' From Jungkook plus the cutest giggle ever
"what!?" on the other hand yoongi was shocked about the price "that is too expensive!. Are you sure about that jungkook?!"
Jungkook putted jimin to the table and excitedly grabbed his wallet from his back pocket
"no no. Make it 400" Yoongi tried to negotiate with the owner but the owner repeated his offered price. "420 then" Yoongi tried.
"450 or nothing" the owner coldly replied making yoongi have the coldest look he can have and the death gla-- "okay then 440"
"not bad" yoongi whisperes and lowkey smirked in success on the discount
Jungkook gave the money and as what he bought includes a certificate that he really owns the cat and along with the list of the the cat's food and health care needs. He also bought a tons of cat foods and the vitamins needed
The owner really don't know how old jimin is but faked the age to 12 since the cat have 12 feathers
"anyway. Why does he have holographic feathers?" Jungkook asked. "because it is special" the owner simply replied and Jungkook just didn't bother to ask anymore questions
"thank you so much sir" Jungkook thanked the owner hugging Jimin who's freezing in shock
"promise me to take a really good care of him, alright?". Jungkook nodded in reply and satisfied left the shop along with his hyung
"that's cat is amazing by its look but sill confuses me if the feathers are real" yoongi mumbled but Jungkook on the other hand is just star strucked staring at the cat. He can't wait to have a bonding with this beautiful cat.
