2 Chapter 1: His Name is Juno

The sun was warming on his skin as he stepped outside his red maserati convertible, wearing his expensive eyeglasses matching his expensive buttoned cotton shirt and his billion dollar smile.

He was walking with his usual air of confidence, more like a strut, towards the revolving door of that tall building. The building that he happens to own.

"Good Morning, Mr. Park".

A lanky male valet parking attendant greeted him with a wide but nervous smile which he did not dare return. Instead he just gave him the keys to his car and walked away like nothing happend.

People might say he has an air of arrogance in him and that his presence is intimidating, but that's just the point of it all isn't it?. And he can't help it if these so-called "traits" of his comes out naturally. Also, it is unlikely everyday that people would admire him and mock all at the same time. Besides he is a multi-billionaire and a self made businessman, the owner of one of Korea's biggest software companies, the top tier, PJMCommTel.

And while others are struggling to find a place in the stock markets and becoming like those hungry hyenas in the wild, he was already at the top of the food chain ruling his on pack, an empire, and he's only 26 years old so to speak.

Juno Park slightly looked around at the busy people inside the lobby area of his building. Everyone was either looking over at him, gushing and admiring from afar, or just too busy trying to impress him by their work ethics that it seemed quite sketchy for him to see. Which wasn't such a bad thing, considering that he likes being surrounded by hardworking and passionately driven people.

"Hyung!".

He almost flinched the moment he heard his personal secretary and somewhat close friend, Justin Jeon calling him as a sign of respect since he is much older than the latter.

He slightly turned his head towards Justin's direction and saw him running as the elevator door opens and they both rode in.

"I thought I told you not to call me that when we're at work, right?".

"Sorry, hyung. I-I mean Mr. Park, s-sir".

The young secretary lowered his head to hide his nervousness, seemingly intimidated by Juno's presence even though they're practically real friends and more like a family to each other outside of work.

"Hey, it's okay". Juno sighed patting Justin's shoulder. "Just don't call me that again when we're here. You know what I mean, right?".

The young one nodded in agreement and smiled. Juno knew that he understood what he meant pretty well, because both of them doesn't want anyone thinking that the only reason he works closely with him is because he is the son of a family friend. When as a matter of fact, he finds Justin to be a very hardworking and trustworthy hoobae. That's why he hired him as his secretary although he lacks job experiences since Justin was just a fresh college graduate when he started working with the company a few months back.

"Anyways, have you checked all my schedules today?". Juno quickly changed the subject to make Justin feel less anxious.

"Y-yes, sir".

Justin cleared his throat to loosen up a bit and pulled out his small notepads attached on a small carry-on clipboard.

"You have a lunch meeting with a prospect investor at 10 A.M. and after that, at around 2 P.M. a brief orientation with the newly hired staffs". Juno can hear Justin catching his breath while telling him all this as quickly as he could. "Also, at 4 P.M your brother, Samuel would be he-..."

"Wait...Samuel-hyung would come over?. Why?" Juno abruptly cut him off with a stern facial expression, like sensing that something is wrong.

"He didn't specify sir. I'm sorry". Justin answered apologetically and stepped out the elevator as soon as the door opened to reveal their busy looking office with lots of people working almost 'round the clock.

Juno just nodded in acknowledgement whilst deep in thoughts as to why his brother suddenly just came back to Korea without prior notice, which made him feel a bit anxious.

But all that was forgotten when he stepped outside the elevator and was greeted by the sweet aroma of coffee, fumming in his nostrils, waking him up even more. And it excited him, as he is known to be a coffee lover, but more on the latte and creamy side and not the black and bitter ones. It reminds him of how his late mother makes his dad his dose of coffee every morning when him and Samuel were younger.

"Miss Choi, make me a cup of coffee. Two sugar cubes, two creams". he demanded one of his secretary/staff before she can even greet him a good morning, as he continues to walk towards his office with Justin still tailing on his heels.

"R-right away, sir". the woman nervously answered before leaving her desk and rushing to the pantry.

"Good morning, sir".

Everyone greeted him with a smile, but it didn't matter.

What he wants to see is everyone burying themselves at work, keeping busy and being productive. You can't expect a promotion if you slack off and just continue being lazy, right?. So efficiency is a must, and so does hard work.

Because for Juno Park, hard work is a step further towards success and if you want to survive in this unruly world full of people who would only want what they could gain, but never give back anything in return. And success isn't something given to anyone on a silver platter, because you work hard for and earn it if you deserve it. That's what made him successful, and that's what he wants his people to learn too.

And as he sat down in his office chair, in front of all his paper works to be signed, he again put up a straight face ready for his whole day to start again.

This was his world. This is how he lives. His name is Juno Park, the CEO and the billionaire prodigal son. And nothing or nobody could take that away from him now.
