Bella is worried for Peter.

Bella has failed to recognize him and he was relieved. Now Bella needn't worry about so many things. She'll take enough rest and I can borrow all her troubles.

This was a smaller branch of his firm that he has purchased recently and he had felt that its Manager would be right for the job. He was young and was newly appointed and is foreigner. He doesn't know much about Peter, except that he is his boss, and as far as he has gone through his bio data and character study, he doesn't put his nose in other people's business. And right now, after completing the first task, Peter was relieved that he chose him.
