Bella wishes to Apologise..

Bella had some faith in the publisher.. She believed he would publish her works but nothing in her life went in her way, so she still had that familiar fear..

Mrs Mathew would be fuming right now.. Bella ran as fast as her legs would take her..

It was already past evening and she did not have had any food since morning.

It was not like she ever cared about her stomach grumbling.. Hunger was like a family to her. Her school never provided her with enough food, so hunger kept her company throughout.. It never betrayed her, never left her alone.. But today she was quite dizzy, maybe it could be the moody humid weather.. it was already giving her headache.

She saw an overbearing Mrs Mathew at the entrance of her mansion...

"Did I pay you to play around here, I ve never seen such a worst character my entire life.. You must be like your mother, she was also too lazy to work and died poor.. Now come inside quickly and serve the guests, they are already here..."

Bella entered into the mansion..It was not like how she saw it a few hours ago, was completely transformed now, there were expensive lights hanging at each corners.. The walls being studded with mirrors and colourfully lit gave a kaleidoscopic view to the entire hall.. The room reflected everyone..

And Bella observed.. she was the only shabby one here, she wore a loose T shirt and faded pants that were worn by Dona countless times and they bore evidence of a dozen stitches and tears.. The moment she entered she saw many staring at her bitterly, grimacing and scowling.. This was not a place for a person like her, she must have busted in, many pointed out.. Mrs Mathew did not wish to spoil her day and so she handed over a servant's ware to Bella and asked her to get ready.. She wondered why this girl would never talk but nod every now and then.. but she preferred it this way, bullying her, seeing her helpless.. This girl should see how rich people's life is like.. Lawrence would regret his decision, Mrs Mathew smiled secretly..

It did not appear like a guy's family had come to meet Mrs Mathew's daughter... The hall was crowded by the most richest and eligent people of the town.. Each one seeming to be better than the other..

Bella saw the most beautiful ladies here and in this rich world it seemed as if the age doesn't matter.. everyone looked similar, perfect at everything...

Every men wore a wealthy charisma... They talked with their eyes and gestures in such a graceful manner that even Bella found it effortless reading them..

Mrs Mathew herself left no stones unturned in her part.. Her jewellery were glimmering in the light and her designer ware was no match with her guests,.. there was a great confidence radiating from her, boasting her wealth..

The floor of the whole mansion was shrouded with red carpet, velvety and smooth.. Bella slipped every now and then as her foot tickled with the fine fibres..

Even the servants looked grand and rich.. They all wore a white uniform spotless and shiny, with a red and white striped hat..

She herself has now changed into a neat and spruce outfit that resembled the servants all around.. She adjusted her wig and wore the long hat.. The air around was really suffocating for her, the rich perfumes and the odour of the exquisite cuisines made her nauseous ...

A tall man in uniform approached her and handed over her a tray..

He pointed a corner to Bella and gestured her to serve..

The tray was heavy and slippery and she barely managed to walk.. She felt her head spinning but took all her strength and dragged herself along.. She saw a few really handsome men standing in a round and discussing something with utmost interest..

Bella never fantasied handsome boys or rich men, it was something good her school life taught her..

She always saw her guy classmates choosing the prettiest girls.. Their love was material and each relation ended as coolly as if they were changing costumes.. She found this business funny and explicated the element of love as a comical entity in her stories..

After serving the gathered men there, Bella turned,.. She strangely felt some wetness.. Her clothes were wet.. She wondered how and turned in utter panic wishing she did not cause any irreversible damage..

But she was too late.. She saw a tall man in coat in his middle twenties piercing his gaze onto her.. There were many hands pointed onto her and they were all shouting.. She couldn't hear but could clearly sense the heated atmosphere around...

The man in front of her appeared a bit calm, but there was a rage in his eyes that demanded apology.. She observed the wine she accidentally tripped has fallen all over his spotless white shirt and shiny grey coat..

The stones in his watch glimmered in the brightness of the lighting.. It was expensive and was carved with artistic taste and even this beautiful thing seemed to scowl at her protesting for justice for its master..

Bella closed her eyes to take a deep breath, her heart pounded and was racing like a horse.. It was the first time she felt really sorry for her, she did not want to be rude to this person in front of her .. Even though he wore a fierce look in his eyes, there appeared a strange sense of warmth and intimacy emitting from him..

But she knew she should turn and walk away and be rude, that's how the world had accepted her..

She looked once again into this man 's eyes.. "Should you use signs and let the whole world sympathise you?" Bella asked herself, now she got it all clear..

She turned around and walked away stamping her foot..

She could clearly sense the entire hall loathing her.. criticising her, but her heart was at unease, weeping strangely.. Through the backdoor she ran hiding her face with her hands, she couldn't believe her eyes were pouring out.. she was crying pitifully...
