High-School is usually a normal place for Faith. Who knew that on a normal day she would be transported to a different world with a child hood friend and two strangers? In a place new to them, will they be able to survive strange creatures, scheming kings, and a wise-cracking dog? This is the story of Faith and her new friends trying to find their place in a world they now call home.
"Ding" "Ding" "Ding"
Softly the bell rings signaling the start of the school day, kids settling themselves at their desks.
Every pair of eyes except for one staring straight ahead at a chalk board. Before the chalk board a slightly chubby middle-aged man stood, staring at a book in his hands.
"Alright, class will begin"
His gruff voice rumbling around the class room.
Turning away from the class he began to write down the lesson for today, the sounds of chalk hitting the board filled the small room. The students began to furiously take notes, copying down the information. All save for one girl whose attention was directed toward a phone to which she was furiously tapping on the screen, concentration filled her face as she ignored the world. For those who looked at her, wearing the girls schools uniform of a white button up shirt and purple skirt, she was the object of beauty for the entire student body.
As though her entire body was made from jade, she had fair skin with a delicate face that most girls envied. While the boys would stare at her well proportioned figure, the drool from their mouths never ended as she was constantly besieged with boys confessing to her. With hair and eyes of fire, her name was Faith. For those who knew, she was a peerless beauty that was matched by her cold and sometimes violent nature. Resorting to violence when her words, albeit few, didn't work.
At the chalk board the teacher turned his head slightly to monitor the room, pleased to see that the majority of his class taking notes. His lips dropping into a frown, he stared directly at Faith clearing his throat loudly to catch her attention, in doing so half the class looked toward him only to follow his gaze toward her.
"Class has begun, you can put your phone away now!"
He grunted through his teeth, agitation clear in his voice.
Faith looked up lazily from her phone, staring for a moment at the chalk board. Looking around she noticed that everyone in the classroom was staring at her. With a heavy sigh she stood up and began to walk out the classroom. The teacher watched as she left, his face slowly turning red from anger. Shortly after whispers filled the class.
"Did you see that?"
"She just walked out"
"Is he gonna let her go?"
The teacher dropping his chalk and book ran toward the hallway after her, panting heavily as he called out,
"Faith!! Where are you going? You can't keep leaving class like this! Think of your future!"
Faith stopped mid-step, her fiery hair still swaying by her hips, turned around to look directly at the man shouting to her. Her brows furrowed, the beautiful look of hers became a fierce gaze that brought about an intense pressure. Feeling this pressure the teacher's knee's began to shake before he crumpled to the floor, face covered in sweat, he looked at her as though she was a demon.
Watching him fall, Faith scoffed turning away to continue down the hall, each step she took was filled with grace and dignity. As she made her way down the empty hall, her attention returned to the phone in her hand.
"Maybe I should have told him that I already knew that stuff."
She thought to her self for a moment. Making her way down the hallway bearing a lonely aura, the fierce look still maintained on her face, her peers moving aside to make a path for her, mixed looks of awe and fear spread across them.
Ignoring their stares she pressed on down the hallway, eyes glued to the screen of her phone as the display showed two characters fighting. A moment later the screen flashed, the word Victory spread across. A rematch request appeared along with a message, accepting the rematch she checked her inbox, a message displayed briefly
"Meet up on the roof? That idiot should be following you about now."
Faith smiled, her fingers tapping on the screen, a short second later her response appearing beneath
"Sure."
