hidden by the dark night the moon was nowhere to be seen. despite that, the city was as bright as it could be, and in the middle of the city a youth and a dwarf devil were sitting on the edge above the tallest building around, they kept silent for a moment, it was a weird way to spend the night.

"so you're saying, you know the whole truth about Gantz...." kurono was speechless as he studied the small devil looking creature beside him.

"humph, its primal name was not Gantz" the small monster held a disdainful look on his face as he continued "of course I know everything, my kind were the ones who invented it after all" for some reason the devil had a sad look on his face.

'he made it?' kurono did not know what to think anymore, he always thought the alien gods were the ones who invented the tech.

"your kind are the god aliens?!" he asked

"NO!! how dare you to say that! they can never achieve what we accomplished" the devil kept jumping around in an angry way expressing his displeasure" and they are not gods" his eyes grew colder as his face turned uglier.

"you're totally confusing me with your knowledge...."kurono sighed before speaking " if they're not gods then.... what are they? who are you? what are your kind? why were you on my wrist? how did...." kurono finally couldn't hold himself from bombarding him with questions, especially now that he had someone with actual answers.

sigh, the devil sighed. but he couldn't state that he didn't foresee this volume of inquiries, he jumped up from his sitting position as he calmly walked back and forth as he kept pondering how to explain himself.

"This is how it happened...."

the "alien gods" were renowned through the galaxy as a strong race, but the truth was far from that, although they were fairly advanced, a lot more than earth and other lesser planets, they, likewise were governed under the galactic system treaty signed by the three most powerful races in the entire world.

these races called themselves empires, the Lulregantu empire, the Mithiri empire, and lastly the Uitania empire. the so-called "alien gods" were a bunch of small planets under the faction led by the Mithiri, they weren't qualified for the title of an empire and their union's name was ENUS which sounded like a name of an individual planet.

as for why they gave out a bunch of superior technologies or what was know as 'Noz' which meant death, the reason was simple, they were carrying orders giving by the Mithiris' higher-ups.

they ran tests for unusual 'primordial' planets giving them as little data as they could before they left them in peace, the purpose of these tests was first to calculate the adaptability and survivability of certain races and to discern if they were worthy to rope in for the far future.

but earth just had too much potential, the Mithri showed much interest before they gave orders to carefully conduct tests, but the "alien gods" or what was know as the ENUS union showed much fear and apprehension that they secretly wiped out the entire human race putting all the blame on the giants.

kurono's body kept trembling as he lost his composure for the first since he came to this new world, he tried to calm himself as he voiced his doubts" I clearly remember that whenever a human witnessed them for the first time, he shed tears of blood continuously for five minutes if these are not gods abilities, what else?"

"hehe, fear had made you forget a simple fact" the devil giggled in a disturbing way before resuming" those are mere illusions caused by ancient techs, the blood tears could not be real else you would at least have felt dizzy or collapsed from blood loss." the devil's words made a lot of sense, kurono turned pensive toward his words.

'All of us didn't notice this obvious fact, they played with our minds....' he thought

"But you still didn't tell me who you are" he added.

"my name's Stids, I was one of the guardians of the fourth empire, the most ancient one of all, Duthea.. " the devil stated proudly.

the Duthea empire was house to many little devils like him, they were the first alien race to create the magnificent 'Noz' technology, though scary they possessed a warm heart as they supported various planets, but within the years they were deceived, their weapons stolen and caged, despite that they resisted with all their abilities. though they had this one skill to turn into a weapon of their choosing, they still lost. the enemies were just too many while possessing the powerful 'Noz" which awarded diverse weapons and the capability to reincarnate.

but before the whole race was about to go extinct, one of their smartest was able to hack into the enemies' system as he was able to put a lock on the 'Noz' balls or what kurono called Gantz, this lock was the known one hundred point barrier. the points were amassed by random missions the artificial intelligence of Gantz balls gave out.

"then your race created Gantz or what you call 'Noz', and before dying created a one hundred point lock for each prize..."kurono was absorbing all the information giving to him, while everything appears connected, there were several loopholes n his story.

'is he telling the truth?' he was skeptical.

"no, sadly we only had the time to put a ten-point lock, before my race died" stids had an aggrieved expression on his face which looked scary " I believe the other ninety points are transferred back to the base which is located somewhere in the three empires" he clenched his fists in anger.

kurono's eyes opened wide, they were tricked into giving ninety points more, what a laughable affair.

"that's why I told you to stop from purchasing anything previously" the devil kept on talking seemingly not noticing the amount of shock kurono was experiencing.

" ok listen, I believe that this planet is undergoing identical circumstances earth once had, its people resemble you in looks and potential, ENUS will not let it be. and if you keep acting as such, the same thing will happen. weapons are important but so are people, you alone will not succeed, you have to build your own faction and resist first here, I can help you..." stids stopped his movements as he looked directly into kurono's eyes.

'what is his purpose in helping?' kurono deliberately pondered before making his decision

"I accept, but before that. I'm curious about something"kurono stopped preparing his questions in his head " if your race was destroyed..... how were you able to survive? and why do you have much knowledge about earth?"

"hehe, earlier I mentioned our shapeshift skill into weapons, I simply used it and before events escalated, I transformed into a Gantz ball. after a while i got assigned to earth, hah, I was your Gantz kurono" the devil creepily laughed.
