Apprentice

Caulifla POV:

Caulifla stood there and stared at Jin nervously as she was debating whether or not to say what she was planning to for the whole morning, ever since she woke up

Her brother Renso and best friend Kale has tried to talk her out of going to see him, out of fear that she'd do something rash

However, she didn't listen to them and left when she was alone, and immediately started to ask around, wanting to know where Jin was

She found it quite annoying how most of the women would swoon whenever she asked them, but quickly moved onto the next person for clues on his locating him

After 3 hours of searching she managed to make it to his room. But instead of knocking the door down like how she'd planned, and demand another fight

She stood there contemplating what to say. 'Would I even win.... he barely used any of his strength.... he terrified me.... what would happen if he was serious.... I would die.....'

Caulifla was at a crossroad as she thought this and was stuck on what to do. Sighing, she nervously lifted her bandages arm up and knocked on the door

A few seconds later Jin opened the door and had a perplexed look on his face

End POV

Jin: Good morning

'Is that what you say after you beat the crap out of someone the next day???' Jin berated himself in his head

Caulifla: Good morning.... ummmm

Caulifla was wondering what to say and how to say it, and was about to speak when Jin suddenly beat her to it

Jin: Would you like to come in?

Caulifla: .....Sure

When she entered the room, she noticed that it was a very plain room, as there was only a bed, desk, chair, and a single window

Jin signalled her to sit on the chair, to which she slowly did, and look at him as he sat on the bed

Jin: So, how are you feeling Caulifla, I wasn't expecting you to be so energetic so quickly.... impressive

Caulifla: Thanks, I'm uhhh, pretty durable

(A/N: Cough cough)

Jin: So What can I help you with?

Caulifla: You see, I was wondering if you'd.....

Jin saw her mumbling something, but didn't manage to catch what she said

Jin: Sorry could you repeat that, I could hear you

Caulifla: Sigh... I said, could you perhaps, if you aren't busy, and have the time..... train me?

Jin was highly confused as to what just happened. In the show she was never this tame.... but to be fair she was never given a beating this early in the story

Jin placed a hand under his chin, closed his eyes and adopted a thinking position as he tapped his right leg on the floor a few times

Caulifla was even more nervous as she watched him and was chewing on her bottom lip

Jin: Sure

Caulifla: Really?!

Jin: yeah I don't mind, but you should know that I tend to travel a lot, so I won't be here for most of it

Caulifla: Oh....

Jin: Don't worry, I'll have you set up for your training so that you'll know what to do when I'm gone

Caulifla was pretty excited at this point as she just became his student or apprentice. She began to ponder how strong she'll actually be able to become. Whether or not she'll be able to get to his level.... probably not... Sigh

When she was thinking this. Jin, as if reading her mind, flicked her on the forehead

Caulifla: Ow, What was that for?!

Jin: For you being an idiot. Don't think that you can't reach my level, by limiting yourself in your mind, you limit yourself physically as well. Only if you believe in yourself will you actually be able to reach the impossible

Caulifla: How did you?

Jin: Your quite easy to read hehehe

Caulifla: Oh okay umm so, when will we begin

Jin: Well usually I would wait until you were fully healed, but I can tell that you'd just want to go through the pain and force your so..... here

Jin took out a senzu bean from his pocket and gave it to her, telling her to swallow it

With a confused expression, she swallowed it and was immediately shocked as she felt that her body had been rejuvenated, and couldn't feel any pain whatsoever

Jin: What you just ate was a senzu bean. It can fully heal a person of their physical injuries

Caulifla: .... Amazing.....

After accepting Caulifla as his disciple, he had her take him to her home, where Renso and Kale were nervously waiting for her

When she opened the door, they immediately ran to her and asked what happened, and were highly shocked when they found that he was standing right by her side, and went on the defensive to protect Caulifla

Caulifla had spent a few minutes to calm them down and told them that she went to him to ask him to train.... and didn't go to attack him

Renso and Kale kept a close eye on him as they walked into the courtyard and watched as he took out a small metallic case

Jin opened the case, revealing a a few capsules. Taking one out he threw it in front of him and onto the grass

POOF

A gravity chamber appeared stunning Renso Kale and Caulifla

Caulifla: Wha.. Where did this come from?

Jin showed her the capsule and explained to them what it was, and how he'd developed a portable training room years ago, causing the 3 of them to look at him in awe

Jin: Now, this is a gravity chamber, it'll increase your strength by an incredible amount if you train right. I'll be leaving one with you so the three of you can share it, and train as much as you want, however make sure you don't go overboard, because if you do get injured from it, it can be fatal

Caulifla: This is amazing. But if we do get injured, can't we just use those senzu beans

Kale and Renso, who were listening intently, were now quite curious on what these 'senzu beans' were, as they were already very impressed with the training room and had high expectations with he beans, Whatever they were
